Nerf tanks dmg or add item that do dmg per health.

LegendUnderMask··1 votes·1,168 views

I am playing League of legends 2 years already and i can tell from perspective that RIOT loves tanks idk why but you will rather see warriors, assasins, mages, junglers etc. nerfed except them.

I mean i played lot of games. They dont look like LoL but there are roles like tank,mage,assasin,agility.support. Tanks in this games are like juggernauts they are taking a lot of dmg to protect team but they dont deal dmg like we can see in our LoL comunity.

I had a lot of games and my team is winning early but when comes late tanks are monsters such as Rammus DrMundo Nasus etc.

I wont describe what champs do, you know all by yourself. Nerf tanks dmg or add idk some new item that can brake that health bar in a half, cause this became ridiculous game dont have any sense anymore. I liked old runes this new runes made tanks too strong.

Nerfing or buffing runes wont do anything it will just make it worse cause other champs will suffer and tanks will be the same as they were. Please guys let your voice get heard too.

Do something or this champs will be soon forgotten. AurelionSol Kindred Riven etc.

Sorry for my english if its bad.

believe it or not

DrMundo and Nasus arent tanks. they are juggernauts. who are designed to do shit tons of damage to you if they get to you.

Tanks = dmg soakers, that will make you focus them either by being threat via cc or dmg.

MrFawknSunshine1 votes

nope

mundo dont have cc

nasus dont have tank stats or steriods

they both do damage. hell nasus does shit ton of damage with his Q and triforce not many tanks rush a triforce

You don’t understand, we aren’t here to discuss, there’s only one truth, mine.

Tank =/= cc bot

Tank = dmg soaker, you have to account build as well, frozen gauntlet Nasus with full tank build is tank, he makes you focus him bcs of his dmg, just like Mao does by threatening you to cc you into oblivion.

Same for Mundo, he won’t cc you for hour, but he will run at your adc, thus makes you focus him.

Tank without cc is still tank.

seems as once again you are wrong and no one is agreeing with you.

and no the build dont matter

if i was to take soraka and build tank on her im not a tank

just as tryn going ap as commented below dont make him a mage

No? In theory, you wouldn’t really need to take build/runes into consideration, but you have to in reality.

Look back to S6, where different classes were all going for tank items bcs of how broken they were, tank shaco was tank and yes, Soraka would be as well, tho it’s retar**d to go for that.

That trynd can be counted as onhit ap caster but again retar*** build.

I’m always right. Mundo/Nasus/cho/voli are tanks, period.

Me being narcissistic or you blindly following definitions made 10 years back when game was like newborn?

Your definition is Riots one, that doesn’t make it right tho.

MrFawknSunshine1 votes

you realize the classifications are something recently new?

it started with the class updates, marksmen, tanks, juggernauts etc

10 yrs back ? the game has only been around for 10 years total. hell back then ww was considered a tank and so was mord but yea they arent

its RIOTS game therefore their def of champ classes is correct cuz they said that is what they are.

In all fairness it is just a matter of semantics. Riot is the one who came up with those sub categories. Technically Juggernauts are tanks, they are just tanks with less crowd control and instead wreak havoc when they get into the middle of the enemy team by having high damage.

It's not incorrect to say they often build pretty much full tank or to lump them in with other tanks. It's just a failure to see the difference in their trading and skirmishing patterns. Things that effect tanks (like the amount of HP on items) have a big effect on champions like Nasus and Mundo too.

But overall, yes 100% you are correct.

MrFawknSunshine1 votes

hp dont = tank

build dont = tank

its about what the champ (champs kit ) is designed to do.

juggernauts who have no mobilty, gap closer and little to no cc does tons of damage

tanks typically have tons of cc and some kind of engage/disengage tool and a gap closer of some sort

take darius... yea he has his grab but its not meant for cc its meant for him to unless his insane amounts of damage his kit provides darius builds typically 2-3 damage oriented items then will opt into def stats cuz he has lack of mobility.

maokai has crap for damage but has 4 forms of cc, two engages , two /three disengage if u include using ult defensively and he has a pseudo gap closer with his w

no where near the same .

and as nasus/mundo they are more if not identical to darius play style then they are maokai's

ChaosLordMadis1 votes

You have never built a AP Item on Maokai have you? He can sting a squishy quite a bit if you do.

MrFawknSunshine1 votes

nope as a maokai main with over 1mil mastery on him i never had once had an ap item on him.

not in the game i had over 80k in damage to champs or the game with 19 kills on maokai

Jez sorry XD.... I was just saying he can sting depending on how you build him XD. I dont usually dig into peoples matches Or that other site to see what people play XD

Except tanks have hard cc (eg stuns) and have more consistent damage; Nasus and Mundo have slows but can still be kited with ease and have more burst oriented DPS.

Mundo has burst? What about Ornn. Tanks can’t be kited?

Technically, yes, but many cases, they're burst is situational (I know, because I mained Poppy for years) and they're more oriented to CC and utility than outright damage soaking (which is actually hard to do this meta). Real tanks serve as teamfight initiators or bodyguards.

If you want damage soakers, look at the Juggernauts who have high sustain potential (Yorick with his infinite pushing, Volibear passive, Trundle passive + W, Nasus passive, Mordekaiser W, Garen passive, Illaoi tentacles, DrMundo passive + ult, Darius Q, Aatrox)

Ornn's burst is dependent on him getting you brittle and either A.) hitting you or B.) CCing you (outside of your allies, being ramming into terrain, which is slow, or hitting with ult Pt 2, which is rather telegraphed and also slow)...either of which can be hard when mobility centric champs are involved like most Slayers. Not to mention Ornn is more or less countered by nearly every fighter under the sun, and even most champs can have more outplay potential against Ornn than other matchups would have. Mundo mostly needs to just auto-attack and headbutt people (seriously, you picked a bad example with the goat-god).

And tanks can be kited...and their initiations wasted, evaded or plain countered. Seriously, most tanks have skillshot ults with long cooldowns that are optimized when used against two or more opponents. Not to mention that they can't reliably 1v5 against teams in most scenarios and have mobility that are either short-ranged, long cooldowned or otherwise have circumstantial conditions. In other words, ring them around and you can kite any tank.

Also, how many natural tankbusters did Riot include? Aatrox Amumu Brand Chogath Darius Illaoi Gnar Garen Fiora Irelia Kaisa Kalista Kayn Kindred Shyvana TahmKench Trundle Tryndamere Urgot Twitch Vayne Yorick Warwick MasterYi How many tank busting items are there? item 3153 item 1416 item 1419 item 4105 item 3124 item 3035 item 3031 item 3151item 3135

There are items that do that....there are even champions that are made to be tank killlers....
