old mordekaiser vs new - Bing images

If you have ever played the old Mordekaiser, and then played the new one its very easy to see how much riot fucked up.

There is nothing about this "mordekaiser" champ that is similar to the real mordekaiser (the old one) his old ult was a nice and creative ult: mordekaiser would summon a "copy" of the champion killed which he would then control(he could also take dragon which was very cool). The new ult takes a champion into death ream In a 1v1 showdown -- hold on isn't this a team game?

The gameplay of the old mordekaiser was fun: his w would do lots of dmg and just when the enemy thought you would die pop the w and a big heal would occur. now all you can do on this poorly-made new Mordekaiser is e, q and w if your low. That is the most BORING gameplay ever. PLUS his cooldowns are HUGE I also want to take a quick look at another champion we have in league his name is Yorick HOLD ON Yorick and Mordekaiser aren't the same person. YEA that's what I thought too, they could get be twins all their abilities and main skin have same effects but at least Yorick is somewhat fun to play.

in conclusion, Riot own up to your mistake and revert Mordekaiser . you already got the money form his rework, you can now revert him and sell all of his skins again this is NICE money for you, and due to this crappy rework It seems that money is all you want ps. FIRE who ever reworked Mordekaiser so they cant ruin the game anyone :)

old one is much better for the whole game. new ult is sooooo dumb tbh surely everyone knows we can still potentially outplay morde in their ult but is that always the case? and do i HAVE TO buy qss just bc theres no way to counter it? even malz ult can be countered in some case without qss, smh.

the old mordekaiser was irelia level of overloaded kit that was so broken that people simply refused to play him because he was boring as shit let alone the 200+ bugs that he had with spells not dealing damage not getting healed the numerous shield bugs the runes bugs that come out for morde for every rune ever

mordekaiser was beyong dumb to play and play against you either could 1 shot him or he would simply win

current morde has proper counterplay in every part of his kit and is rewarded for good play old morde wasn't rewarded for good play since most of the times playing properly meant that an ability wouldn't register damage

I see a less buggy, more fleshed out, more viable champion with an objectively better aesthetic/design.

That's usually the point of a rework. New Mordekaiser is supposed to be different from the old version on every level except for the general theme (Big armored dude hits people with a hammer and has/is made of dark magic)

Not saying that the new ultimate is balanced but at the very least it's unique. Both of them were to be honest.

That would piss so many people off it's not even funny.

Also, objectively speaking, Mordekaiser's rework is a complete success. His playrate and winrate have skyrocketed and his design now better fits in the grand scheme of League.

Edit: And this is also coming from someone with M5 on Morde (pre-rework.) So while I'm not a super diehard fan or anything, after my 40-50+ games I definitely prefer the new Morde.

Old passive → new W1 Old Q → new passive Old W AoE → new passive Old W heal → new W2 Old E → new Q

The only part of old Morde's kit that's truly gone is the ult... and good riddance to that; it was incredibly buggy.

Where's malicious metal when you need him? In all seriousness, there are legit tons of old morde mains on these boards, I believe most of them were very pleased with how the rework turned out. I'm not a main but I did like him before and he's pretty ok rn
