Anytime a support doesn't go sightstone and sweeping trinket first item, that represents an inefficiency that can be exploited by the opponent.

Sightstone -> boots -> redemption -> locket is so stupidly efficient that not having your support do that hurts the overall team, at least at higher elos.

Warding trinket is nice but nowhere near a replacement for sightstone + sweeper.

Throw in an ardent censor and that's the most useful support build for like 99% of the games, even on a "damage support mage" like Malz, Zyra, or Brand.

and it's spelled Sightstone and I'm a supp main and I don't buy sightstone so sue me i guess. Or just run it down mid like Tyler1 and get banned just like him!
