Aram OP line-up?

Simply put, I like the concept of aram, however the match up a lot of times is borderline stupid. Aram is nice to play when you are waiting for someone to log on or squeeze a quick game in before someone has to leave. What sucks is when people go afk, or just rage quit because of the lineup. I enjoy playing Aram and I wish the teams would be matched up better. I think this would improve the overall game experience on that mode. You would have less people rage quitting or going afk. Is there a way to improve the match-up so the teams are more balanced? Thanks

Well your problem is being indirectly addressed because as of almsot an hour ago ARAM on the PBE just got a un-poro'd version of the 'poro-toss' spell from Legend of the Poro king if you were there for that. That should give a much needed boost to the champs who feel really bad on the mode.

They're also bringing in BT and Warmog's (although they're cautious on the mog)

I think they should be more cautious of the BT. That Lifesteal is more abusive than the HP regen of Warmogs.

But to the OP, the lineups you can face in ARAM are more or less random and I think that's the fun of it. I would much rather play with Udyr and have a hard time than spam Xerath Qs all day and win a game of poke out the opponent for 20+ minutes. I know some people can find fun with that, but ARAM is a less serious game mode where you have to make a functioning team out of randomly assigned champions. It is a shame that people give up or dodge because they don't like the team they have, but I say that they are missing out. Some of my favorite games in ARAM have been those that my team was at a serious disadvantage (facing Sona, Jayce, Vel'koz with a full melee team for example).

So to you, I hope you can have some fun in your future ARAM games. Even when you think you are at a disadvantage, don't give up. Encourage your team to keep trying and have fun. There are a lot of Xerath Velkoz Lux Sona Ziggs players in ARAM, so don't be too surprised when you face them. The new mark-dash summoner will make the game even more fun so stay positive.
