Zoe's W Missiles Not Activating Her Passive?

Hey, if I could get some clarification on this. The champion spotlight and the PBE coverage all say that Zoe's missiles she gets when she activates her W or a summoner spell trigger her passive. However, this is not mentioned in the in-game tooltip for her W like it was on the PBE, and, naturally, the missiles do not trigger her passive. This change is not documented on Surrender@20, and as I said, Phreak mentions it in her spotlight. I know most of this board is pretty Anti-Zoe atm, but I am just trying to get some clarity on this.

I think it says they CAN trigger her passive. You have to cast a spell to proc the passive and then one of those missiles from W will dot he passive damage.
