Just Came Back To League (1.5 year break) And Super Annoyed

So I came back to league after 1.5 year break as I went to University and needed to focus on studying. It took me 1 day to gasp all the changes and the new champions (billion of them) and mesteries changes which I did not like, but accepted them.

HOWEVER, what is most annoying is when you do not lock in a champion in solo queue it kicks you out and you lose LP.

This is the most retarded thing I have ever seen as you do not even get a good enough visual warning telling you to "Lock in" or at least something.

I do not even understand why this was changed? I see no reason at all.

yeah, I'm also confused on which is the best jungler / top lane meta. Also adc is weird with people going 12/18.
