Autofill enabled=annoyance

I really don't understand the point in Riot making auto-fill enabled a must have. There are many people who would much rather wait 3 minutes longer for a game than be stuck supporting someone when they want to carry a game. Just now actually, I was entered into two games where I was the jungler.. both games someone dodged.. the next game I accepted I was auto-filled into support. It seems to me like someone can dodge a game, and I am the one punished for it by having to either, 1. play 30+ minutes in a game that I don't want to be in, or 2. dodge and take the penalties for it. I find it very annoying that Riot even thought this was a good idea... anyone agree? If you don't, please politely fill me in why.

It exists to keep Flex que alive.

Riot stated that if que times become too long, they'd get rid of Flex que. Instead, they just enabled autofill 24/7 so that never happens.

They still refuse to admit Dynamic (Flex) Queue is a failure.

I don't play ranked yet ( still trying to get better at the game ) but the idea that i can be thrown into a random role seems absurd. I'm a support main so I figure I won't have too many issues with autofill but if I want to play a random role/champ I'll que up into an aram game.

I mean I would be fine if it wasn't so random. You'd think you would get support right? (I do well as sup so I'm fine) But when I get bot?!? You are telling me you couldn't find one game without a support and instead found the game WITH A SUPPORT WHO WANTED TO SUPPORT A RANDOM. I find that hard to believe. If there aint any for my role, put me sup, not bot or some nonsense.
