There should be a rank under bronze.

Hello readers! I am SpeakingSarcasm. And i want to share my thoughts. I'm hard stuck bronze,(not that i'm bad i just got placed with apes). There should be a rank or multiple ranks under bronze. Bronze is a rank that anyone can get into atm, and since anyone can get into bronze you end up stuck. Elo Hell is a popular nick name for Bronze and its true. You cant get out of bronze unless a miracle happens. People throw your promo games cause they just reached level 30 and thought ranked was cool. And along with noobs you have hundreds of idiots who don't know how to play. There should be requirements to get into each rank. Bronze shouldn't be a rank that's accessible to everybody, it should be a rank you have to earn, just like every other rank. A rank under bronze would help those trying to escape. There wouldn't be any noobs (probably) and it would over all make life easier. Because you don't know how infuriating it is to lose your ticket out of hell because of a 10 year old who hit level 30 behind a computer screen. Obviously if this was to become a thing it wouldn't happen right away, and would most likely happen at the start of a new season. I hope riot considers this idea, because i'm losing brain cells by the second. [sg-soraka]

Tbh there should be a rank between silver and gold and one between plat and diamond.

Silver currently holds the most players in it (it's about half of the player base according to League of Graphs' rank distribution chart). So another rank should be added there to break that up and separate those that belong in a lower rank (but aren't bronze tier) from those that are a lot better.

The other should be put between plat and diamond simply because there's a huge difference (in my opinion) between a diamond I player and a diamond V player. A lot of people hover around diamond V and do not climb higher (again, according to League of Graphs). So a new rank there would separate those that cannot climb diamond from those that can.

If you are stuck in bronze, you belong. Plain and simple.

How would more ranks help? Matchmaker doesnt use rank for your matchups so you will still play with and against the same players.

I'm not against having more ranks but don't kid yourself into think that your position will move up as a result. A pizza cut in 8 slices is the same size as one cut in 6 slices.

Putting a rank below bronze will pull everyone down from where they are now.

Its true though... I know a ton of people who try so hard and do well in a ton of games but their teammates just feed. If we had a rank under bronze it would eliminate most if not all of those players so people that have been stuck in bronze can reach their total ranked potential. It'd could be a little tough to get something like that big in ranked to be changed.
