would be hell to go against. But at level 3 I had all my abilities and was able to kill not only him but a 
jungler as well. All through the game I could easily kill the Yasuo with a pop of my Q and then the R, is this normal????

You see, Diana's basic abilities ensure Yasuo stays near her long enough to trade enough damage for Yasuo to rethink his approach. If he plays aganist an idiot who allows to be poked, then it doesn't matter what champion, what matchup you play.

You more than likely just found a Yasuo that was lacking. Wukong is also a popular champion, but he can be played badly too.
One thing that does do good against Yasuo, is AoE and Skill shots. Diana has all of that and more.

Diana is a burst/dueling mage that can take advantage of characters that have these qualitities. That means in-your-face mADC like Fiora or Yi will just not care and take Diana out easily.

Rand0mH3r0X1 votesWith certain 1 hit wonder mages (Lux) there is a large amount of counterplay by avoiding the AoE abilities she has. This is an innate weakness to these champions more than it is a strong point of Yasuo.
Consistent AA modifiers (ranged preferably) and AoE damage proves to be very effective against Yasuo since he can't dash out of AoE damage as easily and can be potentially outraded.
There's a certain unpopular champion that dominates Yasuo by taking full advantage of both ranged AA, 3-4 sec poke, and AoE damage.
One strong weakness for Yasuo is that he tends to build Crit early. Critical chance damage can best be reduced by building early low tier armor since his critical strikes will do 15-50% less damage as a result.

Last time I checked, Diana hard counters Yasuo. It's either he burns the windwall to block the Q or he risks Diana just dashing to his face and deleting him.

They are both melee champs, but Yasuo has no mana where Diana is very thirsty. Yas takes his poke at lvl 1 he can farm and poke endlessly, outside of melee range, w/o mana on a short cool down, while Diana's q is fairly pricey on a much longer CD. You cannot get on him and stay there without taking damage. Any time you manage to land a Q, you'll do little to no actual damage, all he has to do is pull back for 3 - 4 seconds to reset his shield. Diana's shild costs mana and again, has a reasonable CD... if you try to brawl, he'll out trade you. Repeat until Diana is OOM. After 6, he still can shut you down, his whirlwind breaks your ult. I've played A LOT of My Moon Princess and Yasuo is one of her WORST match ups! If you get stomped by Diana as Yas... You need to practice with Yas. :P

BiBoX21 votesIt's depends on the experience of the Yasuo.
If he goes against squishy he can just build Shiv (E is enough to dodge skill shot, Q clear wave and shield win trade). But if he goes against bruisers like Diana and still build Shiv path he will lose trade early. A smart Yasuo usually builds lifesteal (2 Doran + VampScepter) at least before SS. In some cases he even finish BoRK before SS. That will give Bruisers more trouble.
That's what usually I see from Yasuo vs Zed matchups. In Diana case, Windwall is useless against her WER and her AA. Even Q can bypass the windwall and the CDR is shorter.
On the other hand, if the jungler is squishy like Yi early coming to feed Diana, then Diana can win Yasuo even easier.

Lord Azır1 votesObviously a troll thread. DIana has one of the weakest early game and would struggle against a Yasuo that had any experience.. As for going 2v1 as a level 3 Diana that just doesn't happen. Plus Q + R a Yasuo to kill him? His passive would block the Q dmg all together.

shits on Yasuo and destroys most other assassins in lane. Thing about yas is that he will make life complete hell for people like Lux but has no way of winning against his counters.
