That's not true at all. Before the mana regen changes at the start of this season it was AP poke champs all day every day year round because made you practically resource-less. If you took pretty much any melee but top lane without knowing who you were facing you were boned

You're talking about just lane phase? I'm actually talking about effecting a winning outcome. Melees have been in control forever, especially mobile ones and the fact you thought athenes made APs manaless is hilarious, especially when you consider many melee ADs actually ARE manaless, many have no resources at all even..... AND tons of mobility.

Melees have been babied ever since season 1 when melee players cried that they couldnt get into range of ranged champions everytime they tried.
