Losing Tiers

Why is it that riot ever thought it was a good idea to demote from a tier that you were taking a break from because of a loss streak......... Seriously the splash concept should only get you to 0 LP. It should never demote you for losing in other roles. This new ranking system is seriously flawed. Riot " Let me demote that position for a position they are currently not playing.".... Player " Ya riot, that is the best idea I have ever heard of. I was taking a break from that role so of course if I lose in another position I would love to demote in one I was not playing!!!!!". Please fix this, I was an advocate of your new ranking system until this happened.
