Patch 5.6 landed today and in the new PBE there is still no mention of anything about Mordekaiser while it seems other champions get tweaks that really aren't needed (dat Tristana change).
While I'm happy about the new skins I still am afaraid that one of my mains will be forever in the "not-so-reworked" state.

W range is so small, so the speed boost barely matters (Plus it lost a buttload of damage). His ghost is way weaker now if he builds Gunblade, and he wont receive the +15% AP buff upon getting a ghost. His early game got nerfed even further because of the his new health regen.

Leaving a champion in a not tanky + not bursty state because they can't make up with the uproar from the community about the changes they proposed. But instead of saying: "Ok, we'll take a bit more time because we are changing some things. Keep your champion as it was meanwhile" they just have to push things without anything in store for him in 2 big patches already.
