Season Placement

You know, I actually love this game (LoL) and I've played for a few years in that time frame I've excelled greatly to better and better ranks but sadly I took a break from League. I return to new champs Sett and others and a fresh season number 10 to be exact and a new ranking structure easy placements won 7 lost 3 no problem had a couple s ranks in my wins thought hell ill be back at gold or something but no... IRON 4 wtf riot is this a punishment for taking a break? I am at wits end and only writing this because something is not right I win my lanes I have great ward placement hell ill take the herald a couple times myself all the while my team dies dies dies over and over or wont group or wont attack its just pitiful to see how far the game has fallen in the years. I still enjoy it but I cant keep going at this I hope someone will see this so I can prove I'm not blowing smoke up a a#$ please if even one person sees this and can do anything to help or has same issue just help me understand why I was placed there
