Inting Sion...

Dude goes 6/19/7 but tears down 6 towers. Rito. This isn't working as intended and is a complete fail on your part. Please stop what you are doing cause it's not important as dealing with people exploiting his passive. Cut his dmg to towers to 20% and stop letting a passive ruin games.

make your macro not shit and you'll see that this strat only beats bad players

Except it is working as intended? Demolish is working and Sion has always been able to target structures in his passive.

It is utterly ridiculous and nonsense for anyone to pretend like this isn't a problem. I have seen this on multiple diamond/masters/challenger streams as well. For those of you who proclaim it to be easy to counter, which it isn't, because you can't predict that someone is going to play sion normally or cheap and inting, you all ignore the fact that inting IS against the rules. Ralanr, oh God and masterful "Advisor", please comment on this.

there making it so cs resets your gold value this is what will counteract int sion

I think one of the big problems is how demolish works regardless of if you have minions or not, I think it would be much more bearable if he couldn't chunk tower by himself due to that rune

Incidentally, they have already stated that for now, they're fine with it, so it isn't an exploit.

I'm not saying the stately isn't stupid to play against, but there are a lot of other problems when playing against him which is why the strategy looks unbeatable. Now I'm only gold 3 so take my words with a grain of salt, but the strategy is counterable and really REALLY weak if is team is behind.

The whole goal of initing Sion is create a massive amount of pressure. Oh there is a Sion smashing towers up top? Everybody recall and defend it. So all 5 recall and the enemy team takes dragon and a tower bot while you kill Sion. There's the massive problem on people go about taking this strategy on. They put themselves in a gold deficit trying to stop Sion.

Most of the time he only has health so either your toplaner, or a tank shredder adc should be more than enough to kill him.

Another point I made is the strategy is near useless if his team is behind and I stick to that. He can push as many towers as he wants but as long as demolish has a 45 second cooldown he is not out pushing 5 people down mid. You can easily win fights with good rotations while a top laner cough Darius if you want to really stomp sion cough stops the big man from getting turrets. The enemy team can't take objectives if they can't win fights. You can keep a massive gold lead if they can't get objectives. And you'll win a 4 v 5 as Sion desperately punches the inhib, flaming his team because they lost with a "broken" strat.

I'm not saying his damage to towers isn't stupid, but unless his team is super coordinated it will usualy end up as a dead strat,

Though it is obnoxious there is extremely simple counterplay: Kill the minions, not Sion. Proxy the entire wave behind him then go group and win 5v4 while he ints pointlessly into the turret.

Ez clap.

Oh...the high and mighty morons at rito are fine with it? Balance masters of the universe? Literally fine with a champ feeding and being able to still tear down towers? The cs gold reset will do nothing to counteract the inting Sion as it does nothing to address how much dmg he can do to turrets alive/dead.

ZackTheWaffleMan11/6/2018, 8:12:05 PM1 votes

just use the lead that you gain from smashing him in lane to smash the rest of his team

the rest of the strategy falls apart if his team is behind

PalPlays11/6/2018, 8:12:20 PM1 votes

People are complaining about this? Just...rotate and get megafed. What is the issue here?

PhearBunny11/6/2018, 8:27:34 PM1 votes

Inting Sion is easy to deal with. It was a unknown strategy, now its mainstream and people know how to play against it. If you properly counter it, the match should be a 4.5 vs 4. Your team having the 4.5.

Heres the strongest way to deal with inting Sion. Play Conqueror Nocturne top, build Botrk, BC, Guinsoos, Essence reaver, and whatever else. Anytime Sion goes for an objective, ult him and permanently fear him via essence reaver. Then go join your team when hes dead.

He cant effectively fight you in lane early on, because you can just W his Q.

Inting Sion is just trading likelihood of victory for skill requirement. You are less likely to win playing inting Sion the correct way than you are playing split pushing tank Sion the correct way.

Playing Sion normally is not caring if you die most of the time either you are just looking for a favorable trade. That is how it is with pretty much all of the real split pushing characters. That trade can be gold advantage, map advantage with turrets and inhibs, or objective advantage from making the enemy send multiple people to attack you while your team takes dragon, baron, or herald.
