Silver 4 from provisionals?
So I got through provisionals and I got into silver 4 with a 40% win rate... 4 wins, 6 losses? I think there is a bug in the system because I know I'm not supposed to be in silver 4?

I went 2-8 and I got placed in silver 4 as well.
Where do you believe you should've been placed ? Higher silver? Gold?
It's calculated off a lot of stuff. MMR opponents MMR etc
yeah i had the same win rate and was put in silver 5 I think its based on a lot more then just the win or loss....like marshbouy was talking about...be happy you skipped bronze hell...enjoy being silver 4...congrats!!
I don't remember my provisional score, but I went from S4 season 5 to Bronze 5 Season 6.
7/10 b3 i think i was b1 last season and and sliver average lb gains with 20 when i was in s5 last season
I intentionally threw all my matches and still was in silver
4/6 and ending silver 4 sounds about right to me.
Your starting mmr is around silver 4ish (which is roughly the 'average' players skill level), so going nearly even in placements is going to place you within a division or so of there depending on the particular MMR's of those who you were matched with.
In any case, you'll quickly fall to where you belong if you find you're in over your head (or rise if you feel like you're better than low silver).
