It really makes me sad and honestly a little bit salty. They were supposed to buff her, but in the end she just got nerfed. Not only did they take away the damage possibly provided by dfg, but they also nerfed her damage by 20%. That is a HUGE amount. She is defiantly bottom tear now.

Moheemo2 votesHonestly, I would love to believe this because I want to main Ahri this season. I really like her play style, but I cant play her with the same success as before 5.2 and I never even built dfg.
Maybe you have to play her completely different now, but I know that if you play her the same she performs far less admirably. And thats after not even touching dfg with her.
I mean, her damage got taken down by 20%. Taking people down is not something I can do on my own now. Ahri has been sidelined to a team dependent champ. As far as I can tell

SmokingPuffin2 votesI don't think Ahri is bottom tier now. Actually I felt really good in my first game with new Ahri. The loss of DFG is huge and hurts, but the kit changes I generally feel positive about.

Personally, I feel disadvantaged in fights now. I feel like I am the underdog in every fight, and not simply because I am playing Ahri, but because I cant fight back anymore. She feels so week.

SmokingPuffin1 votesGenerally, laning phase feels much stronger. Consider using Q to get extra autos in trades, in addition to the defensive value. You can be more aggro because the Q mobility lets you escape ganks quite well.
I am maxing Q still but I wonder if I'm supposed to go QWQEQ and then max W. Unclear.
I tried Morello, then Deathcap, then Rylais/Zhonya's, and finish with Lich Bane. Felt solid. Maybe earlier Lich Bane.

She only lost 20% of her damage, if you landed the charm first before everything else in a combo.
In every other situation, she got buffed. You no longer have to worry about fishing for a charm first before going in with QWR.
