I played some games as Gnar and I just noticed he has no full boots in the recommended item set. Is that intended or has rito forgotten about them?

Bad Dreeam1 votesNow I do, but I didn't before because I do not care about the build I just buy everything without thinking and didn't notice earlier that there weren't tier 2 boots. And new players who play gnar won't know that there are tier 2 boots and won't buy them as well.

its a guide to tell what kind of items... like gnar needs on hit, tanky hp items
the guide isnt there to tell you how to play or build the champ exactly in ever game /situation
Bad Dreeam1 votesWell, you are right, but I don't play top laners so much that I don't know what should I buy, I don't know top laners' items, I didn't check any guides probably because I won't play him on rankeds or so. Just I know that Items are grown for defensive and offensive. And recommended builds give you boots that are good for certain champion, in recommended gnar's build there isn't, so I am asking if this is a mistake. You probably won't know, riot will, I am curious if they'll see it

if you are facing alot of magic damage and cc get 
if you are facing a heavy ad comp and not a lot of cc get 
if you arent worried about cc or auto attackers and you wanna go fast with the

its all situational

Bad Dreeam1 votesThat was helpful, thank you, so basically they won't put 2 tier boots into his recommended build... It would be interesting if they put them and describe for which situations x boot is useful IMO, so checking guides would be unnecessary just to see what boots when.

Bad Dreeam1 votesYeah, boots descriptions should make sure that a boot is good for a certain situation and that should be obvious for players that have spent much time for this game, but I think new players would learn these basics much faster. Anyway, In my opinion, putting the tier 2 boots is better than nothing, or something similar
