Shaco AD or Hybrid

Hey everyone, new league player here been slightly under two months since I started. So far loving the game, having tons of fun with jungle Shaco. I normally build full AD Shaco, but I was wondering how a hybrid would turn out. Say I were to get Duskblade, Lichbane and Zhonya’s as core items (actually just Lichbane and Dusk as core, Zhonya’s can be replaced by another AP item sometimes). I normally either get trinity force or Youmoo’s depending on enemy team, and I was planning on leaving that in there. What do you guys think? Pure AD or hybrid? Thanks!

You do you. Personally, if I played Shaco, I would build him a bit more bruiserish depending on the situation. The champ can build literally anything. If you like playing hybrid, screw the stat websites and build him hybrid.

One thing to note is that when you’re trying a new playstyle, it’s often best to go for cheaper items that will give you earlier powerspikes, since the build is unfamiliar to you and you’re less likely to get fed with it. In your case, I might recommend item 3152 .

I would say that hybrid is actually ok as long as you have at least a duskblade. For the build I would go:- Enchantment:Runic echoes, Titanic Hydra, Duskblade, Gunblade/Protobelt (I prefer protobelt), Nashors, Zerkers. In this Order item 3077 , item 3006 , item 1402 , item 3147 , item 3152 , item 3115 , item 3748 . If the enemy has mobile champions, swap Nashors tooth for Lich bane

Hibrid build is so fucking expensive that you need to go really feed to get it.

Hey i think this hybrid build could be a good idea but you are going to have to change the way you play shaco playing a lot smarter with your boxes and having to bide your time and honestly it probably would do more damage then ad shaco for the simple fact that if they are chasing you thru multiple boxes then the overal damage could be higher in theory but this is only in theory and i wouldnt try this out for the first time in a ranked game. I play a crap ton on different shaco builds and most of them are not as effective in killing your opponent straight up as ad shaco but if you have the right mindset and play it correctly i think any shaco build can be good
