I am coming to the boards so that we can hopefully end this stupid problem. People pay for the ranks they get and it is becoming an issue where it is hurting other players game experience. For example I will link an op.gg of someone clearly being boosted. This is someone I know who openly admits to being boosted and she is doing it for a plat border. Someone from riot should really end this problem and do something about it.
It's so obvious they're being boosted, even their summoner spells are switched as soon as they start getting boosted, oh my gosh. [sg-lux-2] [zombie-brand-facepalm]
Playing on my silver smurf, I'm shocked by how many boosters I encounter while ranking up my account. It's really quite disgusting.
I honestly don't see how boosting isn't considered cheating. You're paying someone to do your work for you. It's the same thing as someone who was to take a test for you who has better knowledge of the subject. It's one thing to have someone help you with promos but it's another to get a rank you don't deserve. Especially when you decide you can play at that rank and end up going 0/10/0.

as boosting is very hard to counter untill you see evidence of it please report it via a Ticket so riot can take care of it.
riot does not ban boosted players,they just take away the end of season ranked rewards from them if they get caught. Some of them get banned because the booster used scripts. Whats the point anyway? riot does not even ban trolls in this game.

okay so the boosting you are talking about is the ones where other people use your account (which is a bannable offense) but what about people who duo boost, which does not breach riots terms of service in anyway and is basically just paying for a duo partner?

Guys, honestly playing with/against boosted players sucks but people who are willing to pay for a boosts are the real losers in these situations, not only are they shit and everyone they play with or against will realize this, but they spent real life money (boosts aint cheap) to get a fake rank in a video game.
