Fantasy LCS idea

Tl;dr Allow players to become part of their fantasy roster by adding an option to record Ranked stats to Fantasy LCS.

Hello, I am a casual League player and a fan of the Fantasy aspect. My friends and I enjoy Fantasy LCS and it gets us motivated to watch the pros on the LCS stage. I was thinking recently, after the last LCS split, that a cool feature to add to the Fantasy League would be to add yourself to your roster. So, that is to say that, there would be another position (another way to gain points in fantasy). I think this would be a fun, interactive way of getting more people involved in Fantasy LCS and watching LCS overall by allowing players to actually "contribute" to their fantasy team. I have thought of some ways that this could possibly work. For instance, it could be ranked based stats (that is, Fantasy stats that you provide would come from playing ranked). I think this could be done by having some sort of option before the ranked game starts that would record stats to Fantasy once the game was over (and you do this twice [just as the pros have two games recorded for Fantasy). This could also be a way to get more people into ranked (which it seems/I have heard/read that Riot is pushing). I am not sure what it would take to pull this off and it may not be possible, but I thought it was a cool idea and wanted to see what others thought. Let me know what you guys think and feel free to ask questions about the idea (since I left some explanation out and I can't account for every counter argument).
