I posted this on EUW boards and got a good response so I thought I could share it with you guys in NA! I wrote a poem about the Empire of Shurima Desert. Thoughts and criticism is always welcomed and I would love to know what you think about it!

There once was a great nation called Shurima Desert The great Emporer looked like a bird His magus was cunning, whose evil did exert Persuaded, the Emperor, did say the secret word Of the unholy ritual of Ascention As the Sun Disc focused the ray of dawn of the sun Now, to Azir Xerath's betrayal was clear Azir was obliterated, as the evil cheered Xerath now made of pure, malevolent energy Ascended heroes, Nasus and Renekton, could now see The evil magus had taken his toll And Shurima was there no more

Restrained and unwilling, Nasus did have to make a difficult choice To stop Xerath, sealed off his brother in the tomb with a creature devoid Haunted, Nasus believed he has sealed off the evil for eternity But nothing could seal Xerath, the one gifted with immortality The fall of Shurima is a tragedy worth being told But the rise of it from the grave is sullen and bold

A cunning snake, embodied in a woman appear out of nowhere She wanted a guide to take her to a forsaken somewhere She had a task to go to the fallen empire of Shurima, the desert of the forsaken Sivir, the sell-sword took her to the emporer's tomb The ever moving sands once again shifted As the door to the tomb was lifted Shurima rose from the grave But alas, it was too late

Shurima is resurrected and Runeterra's fate is forever altered Azir ascended from the grave, seeing his once mighty nation changed Azir took this responsibility in his hands To make his empire mighty, once again The history of the burning sands is written in blood and misery Shurima, such is your burning sands' tragedy
