Something I did last year as well. Elise with her spider form on the opposite side. I do these for friends and family as gifts n stuff.

I have one of these mats too, what did you use? ink and water?

I used acrylic paints and some water. I didn't water down ALL of it, but it helps with the smokey effects and just a tiny drop of water can help it soak into the fabric better. TOO much and it bleeds across the mat.
