Armory, the Living Defense

  • Melee
  • Roles: Tank, Fighter
  • Lanes: Top and Jungle

Stats:

  • Health: 440(+75 per level)
  • Health Regen: 7(+0.65 per level)
  • Damage: 50(+3 per level)
  • Attack Speed: 0.623 (+0.221 per level)
  • Attack Range: 135
  • Movement Speed: 335
  • Armor: 21(+4 per level)
  • Magic Resist: 30(+1.25)

Description:

Armory is 6' feet tall covered in his battle armor. This armor has a massive etching in the back of his assault droid. This assault droid marking is also tattooed onto the inside of each of his forearms. He has two gauntlets. The left one is his Mag-Shield Gauntlet and in his right hand he holds his weapon a massive mallet. His armor sprouts spikes when he learns Spiked armor and the armor and his tattoos glow when he uses his ultimate. His assault droid is based off the the Mantis from the Halo Series. It has twin miniguns on each arm and a massive rocket pod on his back.

Passive:Best Offense is a Good Defense:

Converts 20% Armor into AD and 35% MR into AP

Specific Details: This passive makes him a lot like Rammus and Galio by turning his defensive stats into offensive stats that works well with his kit, since I decided to make him an idea for the first hybrid true tank.

Q: Mag-Shield:

Passive: Armory gains 5/10/15/20/25 Armor and MR.

Active: Armory gains stacks or Mag-Shield whenever he takes damage (Max 20 stacks, 2 second cooldown between stacks). Armory can unleash the stacks in a cone dealing 5/7.5/10/12.5/15 (+0.2 bonus AD)(+0.4 AP) magic damage per stack.

  • Cooldown: 4 seconds
  • Range: 600
  • Cone Width: 80 degrees

Specific Details: This would be your main source of damage and wave clear for the game. This also allows you to scale the rest of your damage throughout the game since it gives you bonus Armor and MR as you level it up. You want to max this first and grab it first if laning.

W: Spiked Armor:

Passive: Armory deals 15% of all damage he takes back to the attack as true damage.

Active: Armory blasts his spikes out in all directions dealing 50/65/80/95/110 (+0.5 bonus AD) physical damage to all enemies and applies grievous woulds to all enemies for 3 seconds. This causes the passive to be lost while the ability is on cooldown.

Cooldown: 15/13/11/9/7 seconds Range: 500

Specific Details: This is an excellent ability for laning and jungling as Armory. The passive effect allows you to deal damage in trades without activating it. You want to take this ability first in the jungle for clearing since it works like Rammus' Defensive Ball Curl. The active is also decent wave clear and poke.

E: Full Metal Mallet:

Armory leaps into the air and lands at target area dealing 70/80/90/100/110 (+0.4 AD) physical damage and knocking up all enemies in a small radius and dealing 75/90/105/120/135 (+0.6 AP) magic damage and slowing enemies by 20%/25%/30%/35%/40% for 2 seconds in a larger radius. Enemies hit by both types of damage take 25% less magic damage.

  • Cooldown: 7 seconds
  • Range: 600
  • First AOE: 400
  • Second AOE: 650

Specific Details: A decent initiation tool and can lock up entire teams if placed correctly. It does do less damage if you land directly on top of someone. This is also good for setting up ganks and causing them if you are playing him in the jungle.

R: Mantis Assault Droid:

Armory calls down an airdrop that summons his M.A.D. at target location. The airdrops deals 100/150/200 (+0.35 AD)(+0.45 AP) magic damage and stuns all enemies for 1.5/1.75/2 seconds. The M.A.D. last for 120 seconds and if it is destroyed during that time it deals 200/225/250 (+0.7 AP) magic damage to all nearby enemies. During the ultimate you can recast it to launch a rocket barrage at target area dealing 150/200/250 (+0.8 bonus AD) physical damage and slowing enemies by 30%/40%/50% for 1.5 seconds.

  • Cooldown: 200/175/150 seconds
  • Summon Range: 800
  • Summon AOE: 500
  • Death Explosion: 500
  • Rocket Range: 1000
  • Rocket AOE: 500

M.A.D. stats:

  • Health: 1500/2000/2500
  • Damage: 100/125/150 (+0.2 bonus AD)
  • Attack Speed: 1.0/1.5/2.0
  • Attack Range: 600
  • Armor and MR: 40/60/80
  • Movement Speed: 330/340/350
  • Passive: Dual-Wielding: The M.A.D. can attack two target simultaneously. If there is only 1 target in his attack range he attacks that but does 25% less damage for auto-attacks.

Specific Details: Armory's pet and main source of damage after level six. The M.A.D. functions as a second ADC in the sense that it has a large attack range and later a high attack speed and high attack damage. He also makes the enemies pay for focusing him since he explodes when he dies. You can control where he goes and attacks with the 'R' or 'Alt-Click' commands. He automatically attacks minions, monsters, turrets and champs in range of him. He also attacks whatever you last attacked or attacked you.

Joke, Taunt, Laugh, Dance, Alt. Skin (Note if the M.A.D. is summoned ignore the summon part of the thing.)

Joke: Summons M.A.D."...I feel like you need a name. How about Freckles, Shadles...nah, too easy."

Joke 2(Only with Alt. Skin): Summons M.A.D. "Alright Freckles, let's get you that tiny sombrero."

Joke 3(Only with Alt. Skin):Summons M.A.D. "Who wants to got outside? Who wants to outside? Freckles do you want to go outside? Who wants to go outside? Do I want to go outside? Why do I want to go outside? Let's all go outside! Oh My God, we're here!" (Sorry for this one being kind of long winded.)

Taunt: Hologram of M.A.D. appears "I think you have more to worry about than just me!"

Laugh: Laugh

Dance: Music Theme: Theme For the actual dance I would like if M.A.D. would dance from 0:10 to 1:00, Armory for 1:01 to 1:30, M.A.D. for 1:31 to 2:31, and Armory from 2:32 to the end of the song.

Spartan Armory: No actual Dance Song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlsi-cOOVyM

Alt. Skin: Spartan Armory (Armor is based off the Mjolnir armor from the Halo series. The Mag-Shield looks like a Hardlight shield and the mallet is a Gravity Hammer. The armor is Red or Blue depending on what side of the map you are on.)

Basic Backstory

Armory is one of the founding members of the Sentinel Squad and the one of the squad's tech geniuses along side Energi. They have constructed some pretty crazy stuff. Armory actually constructed his suit and the M.A.D. from scratch in his spare time. He is also one of the 18 Pillars, the Pillar of Steel. He treats his job as a joke and usually consults with his subjects only when he needs guidance or it is a time of crisis. He sees Pillar's like Draco taking their "responsibility" seriously as a joke. He often uses himself as a tester for the tech two's more dangerous experiments. He is a level headed man, but can get carried away in combat. "So...I wonder how the M.A.D. is going to fair on the battlefield. Well, no time to run the numbers, because we are about to find out!" -Armory, before his first match of the League.

I am still taking suggestion for a better title...the Living Defense sounds so bad, but I really have nothing better.
