Brand, he is the flame that burns from the anger of a fallen people, he is the will of Demacia, the hand of Noxus, he is fire that desires vengeance on the people who slew him. One by one the machines came, Brand turned them to ashes and hot metal in seconds, his wrath burned within him and fueled his attacks. As time went on the machines grew more resistant to his heat, so Brand turned up the temperature, he glowed brighter and brighter as his flames got hotter, turning from a deep red to a bright blue flame brand incinerated those who moved close to him. The very ground beneath him began to melt under his footsteps. The machines just kept coming, each time they were stronger, faster, more heat proof than before, Brand kept heating up, kept going and going, he was like a sun. A star walking on the earth, and all his energy was being put into fighting the machines, he couldn't handle the stress of it, as he got stronger the flames ate away at him. Eventually Brands fury burned so bright that he just exploded, like a small supernova on the battlefield, the radius stretching far around, reaching many of the enemy, and many of his allies. The blast was quick and painless, by the time you saw it happen it was already too late.

Zyra's plants grew everywhere, growing into the machines that approached her, ripping them apart from the inside out. She could see the entire battlefield through the plants, because the plants were her, a part of her, her body was just a vessel to transport the mind across the continent. She felt something coming towards her, scuttling at a high speed, she tried to use the vines on it, but he seemed protected by a shield. Skarner had reached her, locking her in his prison and dragging her away from her allies, onto a place where there was no dirt. Zyra felt blinded on the door, her vision limited to just her human senses. She could feel her plants beneath her, but they were unable to break through the thick metal door that she now stood on. Without her plants she had no means to strike at the enemy. Skarner slashed at her, trying to kill her quickly to reduce the pain she would have to endure, each attack he moved faster, increasing his momentum with each strike. Zyra tried to run away from him, but he paralysed her with a shockblast, she looked up to Skarner, asking him, "Why do you follow that man, after everything he has done to this world?" Skarner stayed his claw and replied, "It's because of what he has done that I stay. We live in a world where my people can live on the surface without fear of the magic that plagued them before. Viktor has given them freedom, he has given them a future, and for that, I gladly give him my life." Skarner struck his final blow on the plant creature, feeling pleasure in the knowledge that what he does, he does for his people.

Lucian remembers much of his last decade, his escape from Acropolis, the taste of the first food he ate in his freedom, the touch of dirt, the smell of the sea, and the screams of those turned into monsters aboard Acropolis. Lucian couldn't turn his back on those who couldn't help themselves, those who died with the regret of joining Viktor, those who can no longer think for themselves. He would save them, but not by killing them. That was not the path that he must take, his heart tells him to go the the Shadow Isles, there he can find his path of redemption. There he shall find his fate.

High in the skies Galio could see the entire battle unfold, to him it did not matter who was fighting, all battles pan out in the same way. Galio had lived for many, many years; he stood watch over his master's grave, defending that spot forever, as punishment for not defending his life. Galio had planned to die there, but someone brought him back to the light. She shined so brightly, her touch was warm and kind, together they could fly. She has need of him, he must be the guardian that he couldn't be before. This time he refused to fail her, to fail himself. Galio swooped down to a man surrounded in enemies, lying in the mud pleading for his life. Galio shall give him his life back, Galio shined brightly, shining like the day Kayle had found him, he shined and all the enemies clamoured around him. In a swift movement, Galio destroyed them. Suddenly to his side they was a loud noise, an explosion expanding out near him. Galio looked to the man behind him, jumping on him. When the dust had settled the man crawled out of the dirt, he was burned, but he was alive. Behind him, stood the statue of the being that gave his life so that he could live his. The man decided to honour the wish of the gargoyle. The man picked up his helmet, an icon of the old days, a reminder of who he was, and he left the fight to live another day, for he was a survivor.

Nautilus trudged through the mud, slinging his anchor down on his enemies, stepping on those smaller than him. His size was massive, one of the largest being that lived in Runeterra, and that size was used to his advantage. Suddenly Nautilus flew into the air, but it was not his doing, below him was a mechanical bull, his fists on the ground, impacting the dirt, shockwaves could be seen in the mud. Nautilus swung his anchor toward the bull, accelerating down onto him. Alistar braced, catching the titan head on, sinking slightly into the mud. Nautilus was big, but so was Alistar, the bull threw the titan across the mud. As Nautilus slid, he dug his anchor into the dirt, already Alistar was charging at him; Nautilus drove his foot into the ground turning the ground into a liquid, making it ripple out to his foe. Caught in the mud Alistar struggled to get free, he could see shockwaves head towards him, like geysers surging from the ground. Alistar was flung into the air, it was just what he was waiting for! Alistar dashed down at Nautilus, like a meteor impacting the earth, and he drove the titan back into the ground. Nautilus grabbed the bull, wrapping his chains around him, Alistar would not be put in chains! The bull burst free of his shackles, holding the titan down, he continued to headbut him into the earth. Deeper and deeper the sunk down, until Alistar could no longer move. Both of them were heavily damaged, but the damage Alistar inflicted with his head had knocked him out, Nautilus' body was strong and durable, created using the dark magics from the depths, it can withstand the pressure of the bull. Nautilus reached out of the ground and pulled himself out, only to be met by a bright light, consuming him and all around him.

Varus kept shooting, all his arrows were on point, each one hitting the enemy at a critical location, at their weakest spot. His bow allowed for auto targeting, it was like an extension of himself, a much better improvement from his last bow. Varus began to charge his bow, firing a high powered blast of energy through a group of enemies, leaving large gaping holes where their chest used to be. Behind him a large bear pounced, flinging him onto the ground. A familiar sight, the sight of Volibear, the traitor. Volibear gave himself to Viktor as a sacrifice, to give his clan peace and protection. He allowed himself to become corrupted and changed into one of Viktor's machines, one of his puppets. He betrayed the cause, and for that he shall die! Varus threw down a handful of grenades, the bear covered his face to protect himself from the explosion. Varus ran back, throwing out chains at his enemy, binding him to the ground. From behind Volibear appeared Kennen, bringing down a thunderstorm on his target, Kennen stuck his Kunai in Volibear's joints to reduce his movement. The bear laughed, "Do you think that thunder will defeat me? I am the god of thunder!" Volibear broke free from his chains and grabbed the yordle. Kennen became lightning and skirted around Volibear's body and then back behind him. Volibear smashed at the ground, causing a large explosion, lightning erupted from his paws, all the points the lightning struck, exploded. Varus began shooting arrows at Volibear, sticking them into his back, he charged up his bow and fired a high powered shot through the bear, exploding the arrows on impact. Volibear fell on all fours, and Kennen used the opportunity to charge at him, but when he got close, Volibear pierced the yordle with his claws, his wounds healing rapidly. Volibear opened his jaws wide and bite off a large portion of the yordles body, killing him instantly. With Kennen dead Varus despaired, firing arrows rapidly at the bear. Volibear began to charge at Varus, moving faster with each step. Varus threw his grenades at Volibear, and detonated them with a high powered shot, killing the bear. Varus knelt down next to his fallen comrade, taking of his mask. Tears flowed down his face, he had to be stronger, he had to be faster, he had to be better. In the distance there was a large explosion, but it was not close enough to catch Varus in the flames.

Tryndamere sliced through his opponents as if they were butter, one attack one kill. All he could see was red, everything was worthy game to him. He swung his sword around, and his sword would take him to a fight. But something stopped his blade, he looked but he could not see what was there, he could only hear the laughter. A knife plunged into his back, and another into his arm. He was surrounded by robot Jesters, he chuckled. He had heard about the demon jester from the darkin, the avatar of tricks and misfortune. How fitting that Tryndamere, the avatar of rage, would be able to feed Shaco to his blade. Tryndamere cut one of them apart, but as it died it detonated, producing a powerful explosion. The jesters around him laughed, mocking him for his mistake, it just made him angrier. Tryndamere began to move towards one of the mechs, but he was knocked back by another explosion, suddenly a turret sprang up and began to shoot him. Tryndamere tried to block the bullets with his sword, but he had enough and destroyed the turret. He realised he had to be careful, couldn't just rush into the fight, he had to pick out the right one and end the fight at its source, he looked around, most of the jesters were taunting him, or dancing around. But he could see, in the crowd, one jester just watching him, he had to be the real one, the control freak of this puppet show. Tryndamere charged through the jesters, destroying all in his way, taking on the full brunt of their bombs, he got close to the real one. But Shaco would not be stopped so easily, he threw a knife, and it pierced Tryndamere's heart. Tryndamere fell to his knees, life leaving his body. NO he will not die now, not while the enemy is still in front on him. His sword glowed, emanating his fury and it swung itself through the jester, cutting him in half. All the other jesters stopped moving and collapsed. Tryndamere removed the knife from his chest, and his wound healed as he calmed down. In front of him an explosion went off, the shockwave was heading straight for Tryndamere. He didn't have the energy or anger to run away fast enough. He braced for the impact, but felt nothing. He looked up, and saw Braum shielding him with his body, one of his arms was cut clean off, the one used to carry his shield, he was bleeding out heavily. Braum looked down at Tryndamere and smiled. "It's okay my friend, you will not die this day" Braum fell to his knees, resting his body on Tryndamere. "I came as soon as i heard the boom." Tryndamere could see Braum's back, his flesh was seared off, his spine was in view, and smoldering. "You have.....so much to live for...... people back home that......need you...." Tears began to fill Tryndamere's eyes. "I'm...........not coming back..........with you this time.............So live.........for the both of us........I'll be waiting for you.........up there with...........Ashe." Braum rested his hand on Tryndamere's head. He began to move his mouth, trying to speak, but no words came out. He closed his eyes, and passed.

Orianna gracefully skirted across the battlefield, watching as the humans around her fell, as the machines around her fell, wondering if this was what it meant to be alive. A blinding rocket collided with her, paralyzing her in her place, behind her she could hear a deep metallic voice, saying, "flesh, it is truly outrageous, it is truly truly truly, outrageous." She turned to see a surprisingly short statured machine holding a large hammer. "I agree, flesh is outrageous, so weak, unprotected, however, humanity that is binded in the flesh, that is precious." Taric shook his head. "Humanity is flawed, as a system that has built itself up only to cause violence and war." "And does the creator not also long for suffering?" "The creator does not seek violence, however violence comes to him, in the last eight years there has been peace, and yet now there is violence brought on by the organics." "There has been peace because Viktor could not defeat the Legion." "This information is incorrect, when the creator attacked the Legion, it was only as a warning to prevent further conflict, it as a mere flex of his power." "And yet violence has continued." "Indeed, this is because humanity is outrageous." "Understandable, however that logic is flawed, it is under the guise that all of humanity act the same" "Do they not?" "Unlike machines they don't, there were many that wished to avoid conflict and to live out their lives in peace. What you see here are the ones who crave the violence, and when they die, so too will the violence." "I am interested to see how that will turn out, join us Orianna, and we can watch the humans in safety."

Finally, Kayle had found her sister, the looked each other straight in the eyes. Kayle was disgusted by the sight of her, her armour like a parody of her own, a Nether wing to her Aether wing. It was doubtful that Morgana could even fly anymore. "Let this be our final battle sister." Kayle nodded in agreement, she too wished for their feud to end on the battlefield. Kayle charged forth and tried to drive her sword onto Morgana, but the blade was halted by a dark shield. "You didn't think it would be that easy did you?" The ground below kayle began to cry out, the plants turned to hands trying to drag her down into the dirt. Morgana blasted Kayle with dark energies, binding her to the ground. Kayle began to sink into the depths of the dirt, she reached out her hand for help, but there was noone there to grab it. No, she would not die like this! Kayle erected a shield of golden light, scaring away the hands as they tried to shield their eyes. Kayles sword light up in flame, "This ends now!" "No, it is only beginning..." Kayle blasted Morgana with her energy, shattering the black shield, Kayle then proceed to purge the area in which Morgana stood, emitting a righteous flame that flowed from the centre. Morgana used her wings to shield herself from the embers, and countered with another binding. Kayle gracefully dodged the attack and continued to purge Morganna. Morgana's skin was burned by Kayle's attacks, so she afflicted some of the resistance soldiers with her soil. Thier life force was transferred to her, healing her burns. Kayle managed to pull one of the soldiers out of the ground, but the others perished. Morgana threw another binding, this time catching Kayle; Morgana moved in close and began binding Kayle in evil chains. Kayle struggled to get free, Morgana looked down on Kayle, preparing her final blow. Suddenly a man began screaming, screaming out in anger. The area became hot and a surge of heat began to sweep towards the duo. Kayle erected her shield around herself, protecting her from the blast, Morgana erected her black shield, but after a few seconds it broke. Kayle stood and watched as her sister was incinerated by the blast, by the end of it, Kayle stood alone, all around her there was nothing, not even bones to show who was there. The area was truly cleansed in fire for hundreds of metres. Kayle felt that her victory came at too high a cost, but no, the battle still raged on, and through the mountain, it came....
