More AP items

Hey guys! I have been playing league for a long time now and I noticed something- League really needs more ap items. Now, it's true that I'm a little bit biased because all I play are ap champs but, the fact remains that we really need some more items. I say this because...

1. Every AP champion I play has the same build or near the same build... maybe 1 item different from others.

2. Playing champions like heimerdinger, Zyra, Kat, and Karthus in the mid lane I hit full build pretty quickly but I end up building items like liandra's and it really doesn't work too well. I feel like my late game on each of these champions is bad, not because of the champions themselves, but because I run out of ap items.

3. All my friends have more items than me! Just kidding, but really, it's true. All the AD champions and tank mains are playing around with different builds and I just really envy them.

Now, I'm not thinking any more AP mana items or CD items but here are my ideas-

A kiting AP item (more AP than Lich bane) with movement speed bonus

An item that would help out my Zyra or Janna support... (it would be nice if Sightstone wasn't so biased towards tank supports since every support needs to buy it.) Just a small ap item that could hold a ward or two would be SOOOOOOO nice.

An item for AP split pushers. ZZ'rot was EPIC... but tanks usually have some AD already, we mages have none :(.
