MVP System

I was playing with my friend and he carried with Ryze. He said i'm the blue wizard, nobody can f*** with me, and I thought that was cool. What if Riot implicated a MVP System where who ever does the best (aka gets the most MVP's) their champion gets to say a quote before or while the nexus is exploding, and have an animation that shows who got the best MVP score(only winning team?). Like Master Yi would say "And WuJu lives on!" and or Yasuo "Don't start what i'll finish" and Jinx "That was almost not close at all". I've talked to several friends about this theory. Friends that i trust and they said it would be a cool system to have on the rift. It could motivate people to play league and do the best cause of it. Could lower toxicity as well. As people work together to get a better MVP score. Lets say 2 people are duoing and they want ryze to say his quote so one of them play ryze and try their best and the other friend helps him out. Do you see where i'm going here? For the system its self. I was thinking it should be points or something like that. Like a kill(s) count as 1, an assist(s) count 2 (so its not all ks and other stuff and teamwork increases, also supports have a chance) and -1 point(s) for deaths. It would be cool if there could be away for wards to count, but haven't figured that out, dragons if you assisted with the dragon would be a point. Towers could be a point(s). Thanks for reading hope my friends and I can see this on the rift!!!

sounds like a waste of time, i'd rather them focus there efforts on more important things rather than a stupid "MVP" function, if you want that sense of satisfaction so much, go play ranked

Sounds like a neat concept. Would bring my competitive side out even more than before. And i think warding would make a big difference if you get points for doing so. Would make people that normally don't bother warding, better players. I would get mvp often cus I main supp and get tons of assists, ward often, and always helps w/ objectives. ;D

I like the idea, but what would you qualify as doing the best. It would be a bad idea to make it solely based on KDA because that would encourage players to go for kills over objectives. Including turrets, dragon and Baron kills would be awkward since an advantage would be given to junglers or ad champs. However, if there was more assist clarity on turrets, and assists on said objectives were worth as much as kills, using these would be viable. Or, you could decide to instead use an average or point system based on your end game stats such as damage total, amount healed, amount shielded and other stats. They would want to add some more stats as well though, such as time cc'ing enemy team, as that can decide a teamfight or even a game but may not deal as much damage as other champions. If fairness for each role could be factored in and balanced, this could be a viable idea. I don't really like the concept itself though. It's one of those ideas that would be lots of fun for players in parties but not always for solo in blind pick. This kind of thing creates competition in your team as well as competition with the other team. As someone else said though, it could improve someone's play if it encourages the use of wards and other trinkets. All in all, I feel as if this would be a great thing to implement if it could be toggled. This is the kind of thing I'd love to have in a bot game, if I were new and if I were in a party. It sounds like it could be a lot of fun if done well.
