#Lore

As his vision finally returned, the chameleon looked around him (in multiple directions at once, of course). Trees, bushes, vines…everything looked normal. Almost normal. The more he looked around, the smaller everything seemed. He then realized that he didn't remember ever thinking about the sizes of the various wildlife, before. He didn't remember ever thinking about anything, actually.

He noticed the air around him seemed filled with a powerful energy. He continued scanning the area, his cone-shaped eyes quickly darted back and forth as his head stayed relatively steady. He noticed ancient stone ruins scattered throughout the area, covered in moss. He came across footprints. Their shape was unfamiliar to him, but so were most things, right now. He felt refreshed, powerful, agile...but pointless. He needed to find whatever was here that changed him. He didn't know what he would do with it, but he figure that out when the time came. As if by instinct, he shot his tongue into the thick canopy, pulled himself into the trees, and began navigating through the dense Plague Jungles.

Oskar, the Kumungu Cannonball

Oskar is a chameleon that mutated and became sentient after a strange event in the Plague Jungles. He lives in the Kumungu Jungle, searching for others like himself and trying to figure out what exactly changed him.

He has a odd sense of humor and can often be heard spouting out puns and bad jokes. He enjoys being a trickster, when the opportunity presents istelf. However, he is very protective of his jungle home and doesn't take kindly to intruders who don't respect the power it contains.

#Skins

Classic - Styled like a Rainforest Chameleon. Green skin with tan spikes. Skinny, curly tail. Pink tongue.

Sonoran - Qualities of a Gila Monster. Black and orange patterned skin, with no spikes. The orange patches of skin change colors for his Passive, Chromaguard. Tail is a bit shorter and fatter. Hands and feet have more pronounced claws. Purple forked tongue.

Arcade - Particles and sound effects in the style of arcade pinball machines. Chrome plated skin with green details. Slightly robotic-looking. Tongue has a claw on the end of it.

#Playstyle

Oskar is a highly mobile tank, best suited for Jungling. He deals moderate sustained magic damage. His playstyle is most similar to Zac or Rammus, although his mechanics are very unique. Oskar slingshots himself around Summoner's Rift by using Q multiple times. Depending on his timing, using E will either form him into a bowling ball, ricocheting off of terrain, or a cannonball flying towards enemies and bouncing them around while his teammates deal damage. W is a basic Jungle-clearing ability and his Ultimate is a powerful CC that pulls enemies toward Oskar. His Passive is designed to make him temporarily resistant to whatever type of damage his is receiving most often.

#Passive - Chromaguard

PASSIVE: After receiving the same type of damage 3 times in 10 seconds, Oskar's scales adjust to increase his resistance to that damage type, temporarily. After 3 hits of Physical Damage, Oskar turns red and gains increased Armor for 10 seconds. 3 hits of Magic Damage will turn Oskar blue and grant increased Magic Resistance for 10 seconds. Once the resistance fades, Chromaguard goes on a brief cooldown. Oskar can only have one defense boost active at a time.

  • Only damage received from Champions or neutral monsters will active Chromaguard.

Cooldown: 15 / 13 / 10 Armor or Magic Resist: 10 / 20 / 30

#Q - Whiplash

ACTIVE: Oskar shoots his tongue to a target location. Upon making contact with a champion or piece of terrain, Oskar pulls himself in that direction. Oskar's in-air trajectory is influenced by his previous momentum, allowing him to swing around objects when aimed correctly. Enemy champions struck by his tongue receive magic damage, but are not impaired in any way.

  • Oskar gains a new charge of Whiplash periodically (this reload time is reduced by cooldown reduction) and can hold up to 3 charges at once.

  • Pinball's cooldown is reset whenever Whiplash hits an enemy champion.

#W - Tail Sweep

ACTIVE: Oskar swipes his tail around himself, extending farther towards the cursor, and deals magic damage to enemies.

  • This spell can also be activated while airborne, during Whiplash, or while rolling, during Pinball.

  • Chromaguard's duration is extended by 2 seconds for each enemy hit. If already expired, Chromaguard's cooldown is reduced by 1 second for each enemy hit.

Magic Damage: 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 80% AP) Range: 220 | Cooldown: 7 | Cost: 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 Mana

#E - Pinball

ACTIVE: Oskar curls into a ball until the key is released, for up to 3 seconds. Oskar's momentum keeps him moving in the same direction, but his speed starts to decay after 1 second. While rolling, Oskar will bounce off of terrain and change direction, dealing magic damage to enemy units he collides with. Enemy champions receive a slight knockback.

  • This spell can also be activated while airborne, during Whiplash.

  • Pinball's cooldown begins when the spell ends, not upon activation. Pinball's cooldown is not affected by CDR, but is reset whenever Whiplash hits an enemy champion.

#R - Tongue Twister

ACTIVE: Oskar swings his sticky tongue around him, snaring all enemies in the area for 1 second before pulling them all towards his center point and dealing magic damage.

Thank you for mentioning Thule and myself in the Notes, section. Further thanks for the praise, it is much appreciated.

I am a huge fan of this champion. The passive is unique and provides flexibility, but could be trouble if ganked or in team fights (or ganged-up on). His abilities, in my opinion, make him a lsippery, tricky harasser with incredible mobility. I think he could be a great jungler! Great work done here; I look forward to more from you.

For his passive, I would change it so that it can only be procced by neutral monsters or champions (lane minions would just be too OP), as well as refresh its duration every time he gets hit with the same kind of damage, until it times out (so that way it doesn't randomly time out during a teamfight).

On his Q, I think there should be a knockup element, kind of a mix of J4's combo and Nautilus' hook.

His W seems kind of an awkward mechanic (or maybe it's just that I don't understand), so I would kind of change that (and I dunno what to).

For his E, I don't like that it slows down as he goes, especially after a short duration. To me, that kind of sounds like "guys, I'm gonna get him... Just a little closer... Urrrgh... Just one more step..." Also, I think there should be an element of control to it, because it seems kind of weird to aim at a wall and hope that you get deflected at an enemy.

His ultimate seems cool, and I think it would be a good idea if it moved around him, rather than instantly snaring and pulling them in, with an activation, kind of like Rumble ult, to decide which way it would sweep.

Overall, I think this is a good idea, and with a few changes, I think it would be really interesting to see this guy in game ;)

I really like the momentum based play style of this champ. I must say he looks like he'd play like an AP assassin rather than a tank - having only one ability that may contribute to his tankiness. I'm curious of the fantasy you were targeting - what was your inspiration? Is he suppose to be a chameleon? Surprised he doesn't turn invisible. My final question is actually kind of format based. How did you change the fonts/size of text?

This is a very intriguing idea. I absolutely love the idea behind Whiplash, slinging across the field like that. It's definitely a unique mobility mechanic that can be very rewarding in the right hands.

However, with all his mobility and whatnot, I feel this would work better for an assassin rather than a tank. The ultimate also doesn't really seem to fit with the rest of the kit. His Q, W, & E all seem to revolve around quickly moving about the field disrupting single targets in quick succession. I'm not sure an area of effect that pulls all enemies towards him seems to be a good ultimate for this particular type of Champion.

As I said though, very interesting design concept. I would love to see something like this in the game.

On a side-note, it would seem he'd either have a very good or very bad nature with Fizz. They both are playful tricksters yet have a deep connection to their home and are willing to do whatever it takes to protect it. That parallel can be made into some nice interactions.

This is one of the most amazing concepts ever! I have a few questions though. Since his Q has multiple charges does that mean you can link the slings together and swing from champ to champ? That sounds really interesting, but if the targets movement isnt impaired does that mean that they can dash/teleport/jump and swimg you into the enemy team? Or does doing the those thing just interrupt the ability? I also dont thing he should be able to tail sweep during pinball. I think tail sweep should interrupt pinball and vis-versa. Besides that, this sounds really cool. I just imagined stacking movement speed and a phantom dancer and flinging around the map :D
