Hello, I am shadowcrusnik, i am going to cut to the chase here, This is my champion concept for a Voidling, ENJOY!

Role: Melee Fighter

Secondary: Melee Mage

Common Lane: Jungle

All abilities scale off of AP, except for his passive

Passive- Darkness: Fil'Rath feeds off of light, gaining temporary HP regen whenever he uses an ability based on the damage he deals. (If he deals 1000 damage (After calculation), he temporarily gains 10 mana per second)

Q- Dark Smite: Fil'Rath Launches a Mass of Dark, Light-Consuming energy that deals moderate damage, increased by 50% if the target hit does not have vision of Fil'Rath

W- Consume Light: Fil'Rath temporarily consumes all Light in target area, reducing the sight range of affected targets to 350 for a short period, and increasing the damage of his abilities against that target by a moderate percent.

E- Dark Shell: Fil'Rath was born in the dark of the void, he gains a shield that slowly grows by 1% of his max HP per second for every second he spends not seen by an enemy champion, up to a max of 10% of his max HP.

R- Blackhole: Fil'Rath creates a miniature, localized black hole. Slowly pulling nearby enemy champions to its center (pull rate increases with closing distance to center), taking an increasing amount of damage per second based on how close to the center they are. If they are already at, or hit the center, they will take a large amount of bonus magic damage, lose the DoT and be rooted for 2 seconds, after which they may move freely. This black Hole has a 5 second duration, people in the center are automatically there, people in the mid region will hit the center unless they use escapes of various degrees depending on their exact distance, and people at the outer regions will get close to the center unless they use escapes. People at the very edges may or may not get caught depending on their exact location. The pull strength gets stronger the closer to the center they are.

Gameplay: Fil'rath is an exceptional duelist and is very good at sustaining himself in lane or in the jungle, however his skills would be high-cost with varying CDs to compensate for his high CC and damage potential. In teamfights he brings a massive amount of CC with his ultimate and sight removal, forcing the enemy to stay separated to survive.

This is my concept for a Voidling! Fil'Rath, The Lighteater! The name change and new Q and E are complements of Catmaster (Q) and Flintfall (E and namechange)! Thanks for tha feedback!

Changelog-

6/21/14: New Q, W, and E mechanics to better fit the overall theme and add additional uniqueness! Name change to add a special allusion and make pronunciation far easier.

Dunno, I read him as Fil'rath, sounds better.

Fil'krath's E needs some more originality. You have a great concept, and having a rote, boring move like dark cloak just seems lame. Here's an example of what you can do,

E Dark Bulwark

Fil'krath is granted a shield that regenerates as he consumes the light, causing it to grow (to a cap) as long as he is within enemy vision (does not include wards).

I would love to see some lore for him :O

His Q seems a little too similar to Kayle's E (I may just be picturing it wrong). Perhaps he could have a skillshot that does bonus damage if fired from the fog of war. Just a thought but definitely a good concept with a great possibility for some super scary character design.

look into why it is that there are not many AP tops to begin with. it will probably give you a lot of info, and with it, a lot of ways to make the light eaters kit better
