The building towered to the sky, the colour of red, like rust on an old machine. Pantheon pierced the Door with his spear, pushing against it hard to pivot it open. The door creaked as it was forced apart, like metal scratching against itself. The inside was dark, the floor was covered in a fine layer of dust. Jayce walked in, each step echoing down the corridor, slowly coming to an abrupt stop at a dead end. Jayce motioned the others to enter, in the distance he could hear explosions coming from a vigorous battle, buildings collapsing, beastial roars crying out in pain. He did not feel regret for what he was doing, those who followed his cause knew that coming here could mean death for them, and their lives were expendable so long as the mission succeeds. Leona lit up the hall with her light, revealing anything that could hinder their progress. The team slowly walked down the corridor, weapons at hand, braced for a fight to break out. However they were not met by anyone, and there were no traps set to kill them either. At the end of the hallway was a different set of doors, a type of lift. Pantheon pressed a button to the side of it. The sound of a lift slowly made its way down to the group, moving as if it were on a floor that was high up in the tower. Jayce began to feel anxious, this may be too easy, or perhaps Viktor's attention really was diverted to too many places to notice the danger creeping up from beneath him.

The elevator was large, spacious. The walls were covered in mirrors. Jayce looked at himself, at what he made himself into. He quickly smashed the mirror, too ashamed to see what he had become, he didn't need that distraction now. A crackle emitted from the lifts speakers, slowly it cleared, and Viktors voice sounded clearly from it. "Did you think I would not notice you? In this city I see everything, I hear everything, I feel everything." Jayce faced the speakers and said, "If you knew we were here why didnt you try to stop us from entering the tower?" "What use would I have if i blocked your entrance, if i did that you may have just destroyed my tower, like you are destroying the rest of my city." "You could have at least put in a few traps, I am a little disappointed at how easy it is to get to you." "This is my home, why would I make my home dangerous? Also there is an error in what you have just said." "And what would that be?" "You have not yet made it to me..." Suddenly the lift stopped, and entered free fall, rapidly picking up speed towards the ground. Pantheon pierced his spear through the door, hoping to slow the descent a little. Jayce blasted a hatch open through the roof, he quickly jumped out of the elevator. He gave his hand to Leona, lifting her out, they then both hoisted Rammus out. Pantheon was left with a Dilemma, he needed to hold the lift, and thus he had to stay behind while the others escaped. Jayce accepted that Pantheon was a sacrifice, but leona was not so accepting. Leona reached down for her friend, urging him to take her hand. Pantheon shook his head, he wasn't going to make it out of this one. He turned his head, as if to ignore Leona's existence. Rammus began to cut a hole through the wall, making an escape route for the survivors. Jayce grabbed Leona by the collar and dragged her through the hole. Pantheon could see that the others were safe, so he released his spear from the wall. The lift began to pick up speed again. Pantheon crouched down, building up power in his legs. Just before the lift his the ground, Pantheon jumped through the hole, jumping high through the elevator shaft. Pantheon dropped his spear and his shield and tried to reach for the hole Rammus created. His jump fell too short, his hand couldn't grasp his safety. As he fell, he felt that he moved in slow motion, thinking about everything that happened, everyone who he was a friend to, his regrets.

Rammus broke through to the floor, Jayce walked out, and looked through a window, they seemed to be about a third of the way up the building, they still had quite a way to go. Jayce seemed confident that there were no traps laid out before them, but he was still weary that there were still threats placed to hinder his progress. The team agreed to take the stairs. Close to the top they were met by a familiar machine. Azir blocked their path, he looked down on them as if they were bugs, bugs that he would bring his foot down on. Behind them they heard a loud thud. Jayce turned around, at his feet was Master Yi's head, and the one who threw it stood further behind, taking a sip of his drink. They were trapped, no way in and no way out. Jayce couldn't risk a fight. He turned to the wall next to him, and blasted a hole open. He looked at his team mates and said, "Keep them off me, i am going for the head." Jayce jumped out and activated his jetpack boosters, allowing him to double jump his way up the building, slowly scaling the side of the building. After a ways up, near to the top, he broke in through the glass of a window.

Yasuo dashed towards leona, his sword aiming straight for her head, hoping to take her out as fast as possible. Just before his blade connected his body stopped moving, his attention turning instead to Rammus. His blade stuck to the back of the armadillo. The blades on the back of Rammus stretched out, piercing Yasuo. A mechanical soldier emerged from the ground charging at Rammus. Rammus released his grip on Yasuo and turned his attention to the Prime, he began spinning and collided with Azir. Leona bashed Yasuo with her shield, blinding him with her light. Yasuo raised a screen, acting as a shader, reducing the light that Leona emitted. Leona charged through, grabbing onto Yasuo and jumping out of the hole that Jayce had created. Together they fell, but Yasuo did not wish to be dragged down. He plunged his sword through Leona's heart, and through his stomach, hoping to kill her to make her release her grip. She did indeed die, but her grip on him was absolute. Yasuo began to turn himself, moving Leona below him, and quickly they crashed to the ground. Yasuo's suit was badly damaged, but he was alive, most of the damage from the impact was absorbed by Leona, whose body was still pretty much intact in the crater that she had formed. She was pretty well made. Yasuo began to take off his armour, too damaged to be of any use to him now. Behind him he heard footsteps. He turned to see a mechanical spartan standing there, his legs damaged as if they had taken a very powerful impact. The spartan was just standing there, looking at Leona, and then at Yasuo. Yasuo was bleeding out, he needed medical attention and he didn't think he could take on another fight. Yasuo began to limp towards the city. He fell to the ground, the weight of a spartan rested on his back. A spear penetrated his chest, and then left his body. Yasuo turned over and beheaded Pantheon, the spartans body fell on him, and he didn't have the strength to move it off of him. Yasuo just layed there and bled out, his white hair, dyed red.

Rammus spun hard against the shield wall put up by Azir, as he spun spears from Azir's soldiers tried to stab into him , but were deflected by the motion. Azir began to speak to Rammus, "I used to be like you, I wanted nothing more than the death of Viktor. But i saw what he was doing for our world, and my opinion changed." Rammus kept spinning against the wall, slowly cracking through the shields. "A few years ago Xerath assaulted us, it was still a time where i was conflicted with my view on Viktor, but i made my resolve and faced Xerath in battle, trapping him once again in a tomb of my design." "OK" Rammus broke through the shield wall and charged towards Azir. Azir moved towards his spearman, dodging the attack. Rammus crashed into the wall and kept spinning. Azir sent his soldiers to charge towards the spinning ball, but they were suddenly cut apart by saws appearing from the floors and the walls, cutting the stairs and the walls apart. The stairs collapsed, and Azir began to fall to the bottom, he summoned a soldier on one of the steps and he moved towards it, saving himself from the fall, Rammus however kept falling, and he crashed at the bottom.

It's a good idea and I know what you're getting at, despite my different lore and universe tastes disliking the world (this happens a lot to me don't worry). However, I feel like the writing style is greatly weakening the delivery of the story and the overall flow of it. I constantly get the feeling that you want to talk about all of this stuff happening, but I feel like you rush it out a bit too much which takes away some of the impact of the character deaths and general emotion of the story (going this, this and that without giving them any sense of gravity that deaths should always have). If this was an isolated case, then it would be alright, but since I get this feeling from the entire piece then that should be something that you could improve. Best tip I can give is to be more detailed in gore and intense scenes like the elevator, writing about stuff like the blood or the friction against the wall.
