[Champion Suggestion] --- Cassandra - The Blood Countess
Since my other champion (Ardeth; The Piltover Gunslinger) got so much love, I figured I would try again with another champion concept I had. Remember to be open minded, and leave comments/criticisms. It really helps. ALSO, I am going to try to write this discussion without using the "V" word so bear with me.
So...
Cassandra is a young woman who lived on the streets of Noxus until she had the misfortune of running into Vladmir. Vladmir, who had just recently completed his training into the blood magic for which he would become known, decided to make a plaything out of the young woman and, after several hours of blood torture, was left to die. However, unknown to the inexperienced Vladmir, Cassandra had a blood type was not only resistant to hemomancy, but it became enhanced by it. And after two days left for dead in an alley, Cassandra woke up with crimson red eyes, and a powerful thirst for revenge.
After countless hours of study, Cassandra discovered that hemomancy could not only be used to inflict pain, but also to improve quality of life several times over; a valuable skill in the warmongering city-state of Noxus. Many people began to flock to her for her abilities and she began to make a small fortune. Although the money was substantial, she had plans to use it for one purpose: Tracking down Vladmir, and showing him the true power of hemomancy.
IN GAME:
In game, Cassandra is a support tank who uses abilities that exercise allied attacks over her own. She also uses heavy handed healing abilities that endure over the course of the entire game. NOTE THAT CASSANDRA'S ABILITIES COST HEALTH INSTEAD OF MANA.
Passive - Blood Elixir—Whenever an enemy unit dies near Cassandra, she gains a stack of "Sanguine Essence" and permanently gains a small amount of life. At 50 stacks, an item called "Blood Elixir" is placed into Cassandra's inventory. She can give the item to an ally (by using it as an active) which gives that ally her passive ability. Basically, the passive is meant to be a "pass it along" ability. After Cassandra is done stacking, she can give the elixir to her ADC (or someone else). THEN, the ADC begins to stack, gaining health in the process. Once the ADC is fully stacked, they can pass it to the jungler (and so on). This passive allows Cassandra to help potentially the entire team by the time late game rolls around.
Q - Transfusion (skill shot)—Cassandra fires a bolt of energy in a straight line dealing damage to the first unit hit. If the unit is a champion, the closest nearby ally is healed based on the amount of damage done. If no allies are withing a set range, Cassandra is healed instead. Your basic vanilla skill shot with a twist. Not much to think about on this one.
W - Blood Shot (buff)—Cassandra empowers an ally causing their next basic attack to heal them for an equal amount. Okay...Maybe not an equal amount, but you get the idea. This ability will allow an ally to heal after a botched engage or a gank. Sustain is always good.
E - Anemia (AoE skill shot)—Cassandra thins the blood of all units in a target area dealing damage, stunning targets in the center of the blast and slowing those around the edge. Think Heimerdinger's E on this one. No healing and no buff. Just a good piece of skill shot CC.
R - Crimson Bond(buff)—Cassandra enters the body of an ally granting that ally a portion of her stats. During this time, any damage the ally takes will be taken by Cassandra instead. At any time, Cassandra can end the bond by reactivating the ability. Cassandra will leave the allies body with a bloody explosion stunning all enemies in a circle around herself, and dealing damage based on how much health she lost while inside her ally. This MAY be too much. But this gives Cassandra the power to make even the squishiest ADC much tankier. The stun component at the end compliments her ability to heal allies and ensure they stick around long enough to get the job done.
APPEARANCE: All in all, I feel like Cassandra has the potential to be a great support because she has a good mix of CC and healing power along with her natural tankiness; which is more than I can say about some supports (Bard). As far as looks go, Cassandra is a young woman (early to mid 20s) who rose to fame using hemomancy. I imagine her having the look of elegance but, as a Noxian, still having the warrior element etched into her figure somehow. I leave this up to Riot and fans who have a better hand at drawing than I do.
Anyway, that's it! Comment, Upvote, and PLEASE tell me if I'm wrong on something. Also, Check out Ardeth if you haven't already!!! [(http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/fancreations/qGJd2yXV-champion-suggestion-ardeth-the-piltover-gunslinger-edited)]
