Why not develop a Mobile App so that players can follow the game when they are out of home?

My Chinese friends told me that they have an official mobile App enables them to see the status of the lol account. They can see the match histories, other players histories, KDAs, even calculate their games factors and a lot of interesting features. But y we don't have the same thing in NA ?
