FACTIONS: A Community Run Game-Mode!

Hi, Raptor here.

Lets be real - lore isn't really Riot's priority when it comes to League of Legends. Sure, sometimes they release some REALLY good lore, but do you ever wonder about other things? We know what champions do, but what about the Factions these Champions work for? Have you ever wanted to see Bilgewater fight against Ionia in League Matches? Ever wanted to see Demacia and Zaun clash in combat, OUTSIDE of the Fields of Justice?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you: http://leaguefactions.net, A Fan-Made, Community run game-mode where Factions fight against each other, and people give a damn about lore.

Some Highlights of Factions include:

  • Signing up for one of 2-6 Factions, then going to the Fields of Justice to fight for them!
  • Interactive Lore Events, where you and your fellow Factions members can Influence events!
  • The ability to play with people of higher and lower elo!

How exactly does it work? Do people just organize games in the lobby or is there some sort of high authority that plans events?

hello sounds kewl but one problem i think

i hear that their are raptors on staf in factions

i am very scared raptors are hungry and have sharp teeth and i think they were in a movie about dinosaurs which i saw as a little kid and i had nightmares actually i still do lol not really laughing though because its very scary

pls is it true there are raptors why would cupcaketrap have a killer dinosar on staff that sounds dangerous

raptors can open doors

I'll try to head on over tomorrow, sometime. Not exactly sure yet however.

One question: When gnar comes out, which faction is he going to join? I'm supposing that he joins bandle, since he's a yordle.

True story. It's a real cool way to inject the Summoners back into the world of LoL. They even have their own small Lore team that puts out some pretty sweet content, as well as "novelizing" the big faction fights that affect the "story".

I very much recommend this system for people that like this kind of thing (and aren't extremely competitive), but I have to say.

The ability to play with lower ELO people, is not, in the vast majority of cases, anything close to a benefit.
