Dear Riot - A Proposal

If anyone from Riot is reading this, let me start by thanking you greatly for your time. Lately I have been working on a project that got stuck in my mind around the time Jinx was just rocketing out of the development phase with a full fledged music video. It stuck me suddenly that the multimedia possibilities are vast and likely being thought of as I speak.

I began work on a book. I started by devouring all the lore I could find to make sure the book idea I had in mind would fit current lore, without changing any. I mostly succeeded on this point, the only lore I changed was the lore of Sion, as he no longer fits in as a non-Shadow Isles undead champion. I wrote new lore for him that sticks pretty close to the old origin story.

At this point I am not far into the actual writing of my book, but I have a massive outline of books in my head. I am working on the first one, and I would like to share the story I have in mind with you and see if this would be lore you would be interested in adding as official lore.

The reason I am making this plea now is, the Journal of Justice is gone. Which means you are likely working on new ways of telling the lore, or are already seeking authors. I was going to wait to pitch this until the book was halfway done at least, but it seemed the time was now to strike.

Once again, thank you for your time.

And if you don't work for Riot, please feel free to comment. Would you like to see a book series for the League of Legends?

Honestly, I hate Riot for stopping the Journal of Justice. I loved to read every single entry, it had more information inside than any possible lore or fan-lore could do.

It has shown a world beyond simple gaming. Beyond a universe that we call League of Legends - a living and fantastic world full of stories and surprises. Often has the Journal of Justice told about new upcoming Champion, and this was the Nr. 1 source.

Nowadays, you have to be very informative and look everyday for new leaked informations, before you can even think what might come as the next Champion.

If I had 1 million dollars, I would spend all of those money for Riot, to let the Journal of Justice become alive again - even if I'm the only one enjoying this.

I am highly considering just starting to explain the novel I am working on. I think novels would easily be able to replace the JoJ and even expand the lore to greater lengths.

My fan-fiction I am working on currently revolves around the creation of Mordekaiser, Evelynn and the other Shadow Isle champions. It explains how they came into being, what they were before they were so corrupted. It works to establish a central conflict for the world revolving mostly around the magical corruption spreading from the Shadow Isle's.

I think that is all I will say so far. There are a lot of conflicts that spread from the central conflict, and very few characters are left without purpose in the world.

I just glanced over your champion concept. I will get to reading it in a bit here, (just got off work)

My idea for the void is... well it is a large bit of the book.

Basically it is fed by death. The energy released by a life slipping painfully into death powers an ancient spell which keeps the void closed.

However, with Mordekaiser culling all kinds of life, and holding it to undeath, he has siphoned off the power the spell needs to maintain balance. After a hundred years or so, the void has now become large enough that things are slipping through from the other side.

What is inside the void? Well, currently I'm thinking that it is ancient predators, too terrifying for mankind to withstand. So they cast the spell to void them out of existence, but that is just one idea I have for what the void actually is.
