Faster, I gotta move faster, they are right behind me. They are gaining on me, need to slow them down, I will use the vines. ok good caught two of them, the other two disappeared. She stepped on my seed, she's on my left, gotta go right. Come on, nearly there, gotta get to the mother tree, she can protect me. He's getting close, i can feel it, his eyes bearing down on me, where is he? I cannot see him, I have to keep moving. Ow! My leg, my leg is caught, what is it? A trap? No, i was so close! Gotta crawl. He's here, the lion, looking at me, he looks so, bloodthirsty. It's over, they caught me.
The Headhunters returned to their camp, with their latest bounty in tow, the plant queen Zyra. However waiting for them back at the camp was not someone they had expected. A machine, one that looked like the warriors of Mount Targon stood waiting for their return. Caitlyn was the first to address the situation. "You dont look like one of Viktor's mechs, who are you?" The machine acknowledged Caitlyn, bashing his shield with his spear. "You may address me as Pantheon, I was sent here by Jayce to talk to you, I also bring a few baked goods to show i am here in.... peace" Gnar was already chomping down on the pastries brought to the group by Pantheon. The group began to relax and got a fire started so that they could be comfortable talking. The night was drawing in, and the cold winds swept across the camp, the warmth of the fire was welcomed. "So what is it that you want? I assume it isn't that important since Jayce didn't come here in person." Pantheon shook his head disapprovingly. "It is important, but as i am sure you are aware there is quite large bounty on his head." Jinx began to chuckle. "Aaaaw does Hammer man not trust us?" Caitlyn looked at Jinx, annoyed, trying to make her shut up. "No he doesn't, you collect bounties for Viktor, that is the same as aligning yourself with him." "We collect the bounties to get his tech, tech we plan to use against him." Pantheon shook his head again. "Ten years you have been doing that, how long to plan to keep up the charade?" Rengar stood up, looking menacingly at Pantheon. "Until we are ready, and I am satisfied, then Viktor will be the one we hunt." Pantheon got up as well, and walked over to face Rengar. "Well it is taking too long." Yi was busy maintaining his sword, but he took the time to say, "Patience is important, we cannot rush into this without being fully prepared, I spent three years living in Ionia before Caitlyn, Jinx and Yasuo rescued me." Pantheon turned his head to look at the Bladesman. "Patience is for people who have time, and our time is hastily running out. Viktor has begun construction on a super processor." "Shuugi waga, Cessa naga Gada!" "What?" Rengar chuckled, "He asked what was important about the super processor." "You understood that?" "I understand what he says most of the time." "Well to answer your question, and this is just based on what Jayce explained to me, the processor will allow him to move his mind into it, and that will give him the power to have complete control over all his machines, like COMPLETE control." "Can't he do that already?" Jinx decided to answer, "From what i understood, Viktor can control his Primes and Generals, and he makes them command all the other mechs, which gives him basic control, so its not total control but it is like it." "Yeh that basically, listen, the Resistance is getting ready to attack, and the Legion is backing us on this one. We need your help, but we also need to be able to trust you." Caitlyn stood up and got between Pantheon and Rengar, "What do we need to do?" "Give Zyra to us instead of Viktor, if you agree to that I will take you to our headquarters." "We'll think about it." Rengar voiced. "What is there to think about, of course we will give them Zyra!" Nidalee challenged. YI calmly rebutted. "If we give them Zyra, then Viktor will know that we went rebel, and will have us killed." Caitlyn assumed command, "We'll put it to a vote, those in favour raise your hand." Jinx, Gnar, Caitlyn and Nidalee raised. "Four to two, we are giving them Zyra."
It was cold, Frejold usually, was. The blizzard blew hard, covering everyones eyes with snow. They would have been lost is they didn't attach themselves to each other with a rope. Pantheon was not affected by the blizzard, so he took the lead, leading them deep into the mountains. they found it, a hole in the mountain that led to a room. The room itself was empty, nothing to look at in particular, well other than the hole in its roof that stretched out of the mountain, that got some attention. Pantheon brushed his hand against the wall, unveiling a secret room. The room was dusty, but it was warm as well. The team were safe from the blizzard inside there, Pantheon pressed a button to call up a lift. He turned his head to the Headhunters, "Sorry about the blizzard, we have Anivia hide this area with the blizzard to keep the searchers away, the intense cold masks out heat underground." The lift arrived, it was small, could only carry four at a time. Rengar, Gnar, Yi and Jinx went down first, after it reached the bottom Pantheon recalled it for the last load. The girls joined Pantheon for the journey into the mountain. "Welcome to the resistance." The cavern was massive, it was like a small underground town lay there, hidden from the world. Nidalee could spot a few of their bounties from the lift, Ahri the Fox demon, Brand the burning Vengeance, even Lucian was there. All these people, people they couldn't find, or couldn't capture, were all hiding out here along with other resistance troops. If they were still working for Viktor this would be a gold mine for them. The streets were dusty, the dirt was hard and cracked on the ground. The houses were but shacks, built for temporary stay yet, the insides look like they have been living there for years. There was a small garden, with a pond, the plats there looked weak and decrepit. Zyra moved to the garden, holding the withering flowers in her hands, breathing life into them at her touch. Food here looked scarce, it looked like they were mostly eating roots, such delicacies like meat was rare. Frejold wasn't exactly know for raising cattle, and hunting was dangerous. Eyes were on them, it was understandable. The Headhunters were well known as the dogs of Viktor, they were despised by those who fought against his tyranny. The walls of the cavern were covered in true ice, a strange ice that does not melt even in the hottest of heats. The ceiling had some kind of glowstone on it, lighting up the area. The base of the stairs had a memorial, honouring those lost to them, it was such a sad sight, photo's, names, drawings, someone even left a teddy bear there. Caitlyn could feel the guilt piercing her heart, it was like a sharp knife had cut her deep. Gnar was preoccupied entertaining himself with some Poro's, small sheep-like creatures native to Frejold, Caitlyn was glad that at least one of them could feel welcome there. Pantheon led the team to the top of the cavern, to a building overlooking the entire area, it didn't look any better furnished than any of the other buildings in the cavern. At the door stood a Gargoyle, made of blue stone. His red eyes glared at them as they reached the top of the stairs, Rengar looked at him keenly, covered in scratches and cuts, parts of it chipped away, little to no attempt to fix any of the damages, this creature has seen many battles. Pantheon pushed open the heavy stone doors, within the room there was a sea of shining light. A woman was inside, with glorious wings made of metal, beautiful short blonde hair and a sword of glowing white light. "Meet Kayle, leader of the resistance." She looked up, not moving herself from her position. The inside of the room was brimmed full of technology, scanners, maps, processors. Kayle sat in her chair, and looked at each member of the team in the eyes, not saying a single word of greeting. She finally rested her stare at Caitlyn, acknowledging her as the leader of the group, and said, "Let's get down to business shall we."
