#Nibel, the Relic Hunter

#Appearance
Tall, thin and young man with a black shirt, pants and shoes. Over the shirt a grey sleeveless vest and over that a long black cloak.
Some brown leather here and there on his clothes.
A metal glove (of an armor) on his right hand, that has the metal stacking over each other in spikes and under the spikes you can see a blood red lining.
A scimitar as a sword, that's more like a machete than a scimitar, and a hex-tech brown-wood revolver with golden metal.
A pure black top hat and a stubble beard.

#Lore
Nibel did not like war. Neither did he peace. Why?
Peace, in such a wide world, accumulates power and mystery.
War, on the other hand, may force them to show. And even if they fall back into mystery, they will always leave a trace. A trace for him to follow, a trace that lead to power, sometimes in form of relics and artifacts. The items he so desperately searched for.
So he did not want war, but he did not want endless peace, it would eventually consume the traces and there would be nowhere for him to go.
Nibel was a Relic Hunter, he did anything he had to to find and secure these ancient relics. Even if it meant stealing them, and even if that meant by force.
How often had he stolen the treasures others had tried so hard to find ?
Pirates, Archaeologists, Adventures, he understood their pain, having worked so hard for something and then having it stolen. But sometimes it was just easier to let the others do the work and follow them to the goal.
He basically depended on them at those times.
But why did he join the league ?
Well, the first reason was : He'd stolen, once again. And once again from that Blondie. But what he hadn't known, was that that Blondie could fire massive yellow energy pulses, that could bring down his sky ship.
He crashed in the Shurima Desert and was brought before the judge.
"What is it you love most ?", the judge had asked, "Relics and Freedom - I will rob half of both."
(The judge had had a grudge, he'd stolen his wife's wedding ring.)
He was sentenced to fight in the League, which should be his prison, and he was restricted to having 5 of his many many Relics at his disposal.
He choose his favorite set : The Tiki-Rod, Nullmagic-Revolver, Glove of the Ruined King, Wriggle's Blade and the Cursed Emerald, with which he escaped from fights so many times.
(Ezreal and Gangplank hated it. He'd show up, steal their loot and vanish.)
Every other relic he had owned was, as the judge said :
"Mr. Lung was as friendly as to donate most of his finding to the Institute of War and the League of Legends. We gratefully accept the donation, some of the items will be available to the Champions as of now."

"I wouldn't mind meeting him in the League.", - both Ezreal and Gangplank.

#Quotes

Upon selection : Their riches will be mine !
When spawning first time : So they had his Blade.

  • Reference to Blade of the Ruined King.
When meeting Ezreal : Soz, Blondie.
When meeting Ezreal : My ship says hello.
When meeting Gangplank : ARRR-e you mad, Pirat ?
When meeting Taric : It's so sad how blind most are.
When walking : Off to treasure ?
When walking : March, march, march, march
    -Shared with Shaco
Taunt : Catch me if you can.
Taunt - Ezreal : Museums are wasted power !
Joke : For my next trick ! I'll make myself disappear ! Along with your treasures, heahahah.

P.s. : He is a thief, but he isn't really interesting in gold, but rather valuable items, that are useful to him.

Edit : Playstyle
He isn't really a fighter, and he is really item dependent. He has a very low attack range, over all stats and he gains no Magic Resist per level. He can be bursted easily, but mid to late game he gains in strength.
He brings a lot of "weird" utility forms to his team, and is very skilled in running away, but also chasing.
So he can annoy his enemies massively.
He should focus on getting his first good item and then try to gank a lane with his built in teleport. He therefor has a lot of map pressure and can also easily back-door, but he could never beat someone like riven, yasuo or kha in a 1v1 (in the early game).
Later he should have some more Health (but not defensive stats !) and then he can just brawl it out with enemies by kiting and uses his spells correctly. If he prolongs the fight long enough an ally can come to help him and together they can kill the enemy.
I would play him either top or mid-lane, since he can easily farm with his W, while silencing casters with his Q. If he overextends he can switch places with a minion or ward and so he should be able to farm and push without worries. In top lane, however, he would have it more difficult, but therefor your team could take a damage heavy mid-laner.
I don't know if he could jungle, since he has no actual CC, but maybe he could even support.

Ah this again, very good indeed and pretty thought out. I really don't think there's something as unique as this champion. He certainly does bring a lot of utility into the game as a top-mid laner and sounds like he shines of in outplaying opponents in strategies rather than head-on.

I would like to talk about how his W doesn't give the option to buff allied champions. Was there something you had in mind? I also think that his E should have a channel time or a certain range so it won't be op(global is banned).

I'm actually looking forward to this kit and hope to help you later on. If you want, I can tweak the numbers.

While I am in NO way a champion designer, I feel his kit is far too powerful but extremely unique at the same time. I love LOVE your concept for a ward, especially the way he interacts with it, and his e is pretty cool as well. That said, his passive is incredibly powerful, it is the quintessential definition of hidden power. No other champion in the game can affect summoner spells (let alone on their passive). And his R feels incredibly underwhelming.

I really like the unique trinket idea (but it definitely shouldn't be purchasable team-wide), and all the lore that can be added through the artifacts. His kit seems very unique, but I'd have to see it in action to really understand the feel of this champ. But I like it.
