Makeing an esports movie

I'm creating a film about the journey of an esports team, and i was wondering about the legality of using league as the game the players are playing. Sort of like making a movie about a baseball team.

Please ask Support - No Rioter will come and tell you, but atleast Support is kinda "forced" or "couraged" to answer you in any way.

If you get paid for this movie, then it will be very likely that you need first permission or need to sign some contract. This movie can also turn into a negative publicity, where the team spits on league of legends after they did lose - kinda something in theory.

However, if this movie is for free, then I think that you don't have to get any permission, but I'll tell you what - contact support in any way. They may can help you later to spread the word about you and your movie via twitter, facebook, maybe even as a official announcement.
