Riot, This is serious. Please give us answers.

Ok, my old thread got buried under waves and waves of threads from people who were wondering why they got banned, after enjoying this game for so many years, but are met with "Oh, your behavior in this particular game was really condescending and stuff..." without any thought as to why that might be. They may have had a bad day, or their chat was interpreted wrong and they were being sarcastic, and maybe a bit naïve. But that's not what I want to talk about.

I'm talking about Shurima's new lore. I think you know where I'm going here, but let's start at the top. So Azir was somehow raised from his tomb and new is fighting as a champion, and that's...actually pretty sweet. But with these new lores you released, all revolving around him and destroying their former heart-felt moments, like Cassiopeia's greed, Rammus's sudden sentiency, and Amumu's despair, I cannot see this happen without a fight. I understand you want to release new content and drive LoL to a new, more organized and simple future, but this is not what we asked for.

Think about it. When you started League, what was your first thought? Oh, this idea seems fun, and look at all those characters! you might have said. Pre-30, I scoured the entire database until I found a champion whose lore fit me perfectly. Anivia, a phoenix who guarded what she loved with all her heart, and sensed something dark growing in her life. I needed to play her, to sympathize. That's why I joined. Would you really wish to see your game fall into just the lines of "Oh my gosh, I saw that game on stream once...it seems nice, but I'll leave it to the pros." or what it used to be: "So many of my friends are playing this, and with such passion...I want to join them but where to start? This game is an endless sea of mystery and conflict. One that I really want to be a part of."

So to those of you working at Riot, listen to the voices of your community. Don't make LoL die just because you want perfection. Because that's impossible. You want to build your community, not refine it. All those people you've banned without a second thought? They were a part of the League to. As Summoners who wished for magic.
