This Needs To Be The New Ahri Splash

I know that Ahri's splash was updated a while back, but this splash truly matches her personality. Mischievous and young (don't you perverts even think about it). And at least Ahri's lines will match the splash art as well. When you listen to her voice lines and then look at the actual splash art, it doesn't match that well. If you think we should have this as the new Ahri splash, vote this thread up!

As for the creator of the splash, it is Knockwurst.

EDIT: Thanks so much for the support on this. I just expected this post to be in the dust like every other one, but this now has over 2k views and is the most hottest thing right now in Community Creations and has over 300 votes! Now let's try getting this post noticed by a Rioter! :D

The face is a bit creepy, almost like she's going to rape a $#@! out of you; whereas her pose looks like she's offering to assist someone who's fallen on the ground. All in all it's not bad, just the face and pose combo is a bit off to me.

lol, that is 100% the true face of Ahri. There is nothing at all that is off except it could be touched up with the lighting and textures. Other then that, it's damn near perfect.

To the OP, the artist is from the guy that did Ahri's original splash.

I've read her lore multiple times, it never says anything directly about sex. She would use her charms and wiles to lure people off to have their soul drained out. I think they kept sex out to keep a bit of difference from succubi and since kitsune were more into being tricksters than sex demons.

he also did that piece BEFORE they reworked ahri's splash, and it looks so similar i think the other artist might have 'inspired' themselves from this to do the update

I think her new splash is gorgeous, but OP is right. It doesn't really suit her playful personality too well, but I'm definitely not complaining.

It looks great to me except for the chin. That is my ONLY problem with it.

Sorry, but no. She does look mischievous, but she also looks like a prostitute. Way too slutty. Also, way too animu... It clashes with the overall art style of most of the current splashes. They've thankfully moved past the animu faces like e.g. classic Soraka's. Let's not relapse.

Yawn. Seductive =/= slutty. And Succubi are different from Ahri in terms of character type.

Well, seductresses are practiced seducers. And since seduction is "the process of deliberately enticing a person, to lead astray, as from duty, rectitude, or the like; to corrupt, to persuade or induce to engage in sexual behavior" it kinda does fit. And then there's this line "One traditional view portrays the femme fatale (or, you know, seductress in a movie term) as a sexual vampire; her charms leech the virility and independence of lovers, leaving them shells of themselves." Ahri eats the life force of her victims...sounds similar to me. And, my final quote of the night "In modern representations, a succubus may or may not appear in dreams and is often depicted as a highly attractive seductress or enchantress. So you know, strike three, you're out. Ahri is, for all intents and purposes, a succubus. She isn't one of the completely naked ones that appear in other places, so I guess she is a slightly more PG version, but still.

I think that the interpretations and connections you draw from the above quotes are arbitrary. The connections are quite vague, but it doesn't matter since it's not what my point is about. (I don't agree that Ahri is a succubus in the standard sense, but never mind.)

The main point that I maintain is that seductive =/= slutty. I'm fairly sure that her right tit doesn't need to be -physically- and -visibly- flattened by the top she's wearing for her to be seductive. I'm also fairly certain that the design of her skirt need not be altered in the splash compared to the model just to show some butt. It's just bad female character design that I personally could never take seriously if it became the official splash.

Nah. She looks genuinely nice in this splash art. It also looks like someone who cares a little too much for Ahri ( u no wat i mean) made this.

Her current one she doesn't quite look like a person, and that's perfect. This one humanizes her way too much.

I dunno, the hand offered looks like it belongs on some old crone....well, not entirely, but I can't help looking at that hand and seeing anything but the hand of the Old Witch form of the Evil Queen in Snow White. Looking at just that hand makes me think of cackling and "I'LL GET YOU MY PRETTY! AND YOUR LITTLE DOG TOO!!!!" Maybe the artist is trying to convey her predatory nature/past? I don't know....maybe I'm just weird. Everything else is alright.
