So, back when Dragonblade Riven was coming out, me and my friends were not too satisfied with the some aspects of it and how it represented Riven. After some talking, we got to the point where we tried to each create a concept that would fit the Chinese New Year theme AND be something else. And getting inspiration from the former Panda Annie skin, I came up with the staggeringly original idea of Panda Riven! Despite having made some crappy art of it, I recently decided to commission another artist for it... and the result I liked so much that I decided to actually make it a suggestion here!

Potential animations: Passive: The sword is a broken bamboo stick. Gets a small segment for every charge, possibly.

Q: Mostly the same, flap that bamboo around.

W: Shoots out shards of bamboo around to stun and damage.

E: Rotating straw hats? Bamboo stick walls? Who knows!

R: Full Bamboo stick! For extra clobbering action. The active could be a similar theme like the W, shooting out sharp shards of broken bamboo. Though other ideas are welcome here.

To be fair, I considered adding a black jacket to mimic a panda's coat. When I tried drawing it though, it didn't turn out as well. Still working on it.

Maybe not call it Panda though? Maybe Samurai Riven Riven ? Good idea though.

I believe Samurai has a very different core as an idea. While a Samurai Riven would be a good idea too in my eyes, this one in particular is more about being partially silly, and partially 'Monk' theme, due to fighting with a bamboo stick. I agree the Panda theme could be reinforced some more though. Suggestions are welcome.

I think your problem lies in that this skin does not look a whole lot like the rest of Riven skins. Adding a black and white jacket somehow might be a good idea. Either that or body paint maybe?

That is true. The skin is a lot more lightly-dressed than most Riven skins (excluding Bottle Bunny). I do believe the jacket is a good idea though, yes. I only need to get down to drawing it. I also need some idea about her gauntlet, since it's one of her signature pieces.

Maybe a bamboo gauntlet? You know, two pieces of bamboo held together with string...

Hmm... possibly, yes. The shin piece probably wouldn't make it with these kind of pants though, and I do like them too much. Gauntlet though. A panda paw is also possible, though that would be a bit too close to the approach for Bunny Riven.
