It is sad that TSM is getting so much shade. Honestly they are the only team that looks consistent going into their group. RNG looked gross in their playoffs compared to their regular season. Looper just didn't show up, SSG is honestly a fluke too. Idk what kt smoked but it must have been good shit to lose that bo5. Do I even need to talk about splyce? They had no true good showings in the playoffs. They are really young and really shaky. TSM will have to play like boosted apes to not make it out of that group.

TSM is going to have a tough time but they can take 1st in their group.

I feel like the NA dream is alive mostly, the only thing i'm really overtly worried about is CLG.

These groups are gonna be all-out slugfests, especially group D. This should be an entertaining world championship

I feel like Cloud 9 and SKT would be an odd pair to get out of the same group stage, but honestly, CLG just got auto-qualified for 2nd seed because TSM can't qualify twice, and C9 looks 100x better than CLG. C9 is strong in all the right roles. All the roles that I May and FW are lacking strength in. I honestly think Impact falls under the 5 Best Top Laners at worlds, though, that's just my diagnosis of his play compared to the others, as Duke and Smeb are clearly far better than him. No Top Laner looks as consistent as him, either. He gets solo kills left and right in any matchup, Yasuo into Ekko, Gnar into Kennen (As well as a 1v2 double kill), which are not matchups where there should be any solo kills at all. So basically, I think SKT will go 6-0 in the group stage, and C9 will go 4-2. Not to mention, I'm not JUST a C9 fan, the analysts in the Group Draw almost all though the same, and their job is to analyze games and matchups. I'm also sure many other people will agree with me.

Cloud 9 is toast, Go SKT!

I want C9 to win, but I feel like SKT will just obliterated them. TSM good luck! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Really enjoyed the group draws this year and I felt there was at least 1 convincing reason to watch each group.

Group A - Obviously barring a superhuman level of choke Rox Tigers are a super favorite by every standard to 6-0 this group. However Both G2 and CLG have, interesting, histories at major events. Based on what I saw of playoffs and recent play I'd give G2 a definitive edge, however, there are several weeks and boot camps to be done prior to Worlds. Not to mention it will be played on an entirely different patch. If either team has drastic changes to their level of play that will be the deciding factor. I like to call this the Group of Faith, Korean fans will have total faith in Rox, EU fans will have faith in G2's ability to perform, NA fans will have faith that CLG will step up, and Albus Nox Luna is going to need all the faith it can muster to pull off a miracle upset to get out of this one.

Group B - Most people consider this one a shoe-in for SKT. I am not so sure. SKT seems to be struggling a bit with the meta changes and performed somewhat poorly in the playoffs. Also Flash Wolves did win and split 1-1 with SKT during MSI. I believe the team does indeed have the talent to challenge for top spot. C9 is a bit of a dark horse, but they do have very talented laners in Jensen and Impact, unfortunately Jensen has struggled vs very high-tier midlaners and is in a group vs Faker and Maple, two of the world's best. I like to call this group the MegaMid group. With talent like Faker, Jensen, Maple, and Kira competing this should be a very explosive lane to watch.

Group C - This groups the most straightforward of all of the groups. EDG is a huge favorite and has performed quite well all season as well as in the playoffs. China looked very strong at MSI and not much has altered that. For the second slot I just do not see H2K or INTZ stepping up to challenge AHQ. H2K has a history of choking when the pressure is on and even though I really enjoy Prolly as a personality and his knowledge of the game seems top notch, I do not think they will fix the issue that seems to plague them every postseason. I call this one the Done Deal as I really don't see any reason this should not be a 6-0, 4-2, 2-4, 0-6 group.

Group D - This is probably the only truly controversial group of the batch, and no surprise it is the group TSM, the #1 NA seed landed in. Did CLG's run at MSI actually matter? Has the gap closed between Eastern and Western teams? I think it has, at least enough so that TSM can beat a struggling RNG and a somewhat fluke Korean 3rd seed. Unfortunately for EU fans Splyce is pretty outclassed here although I could see them potentially taking games off of RNG who did struggle greatly with the current meta and floundered thier way to a #2 seed in much the same way CLG did. I like to call this the Fanboy group, Korean fanboys are all going to place SSG and RNG ahead of TSM and NA fanboys are all going to place TSM first.

Find it funny how everyone argues about NA>EU or EU>NA but we all know Korea or China are going to be the world champs.

Leon H9/11/2016, 1:53:05 AM2 votes

Another Korean team will win. Korean dominate this game

Morrogondor9/10/2016, 8:40:47 PM2 votes

Looking forward NA 4th place vs EU 1st place... Lots of people gonna yell EU>NA that day...RIP IMT...

PKThunder2479/10/2016, 10:42:30 PM2 votes

I think... A- Rox and G2, B- Flash Wolves and SKT, C- Edward and AHQ, and D- Samsung and Royal. However it's tough to really tell since these teams rarely get to play each other.

[zombie-brand-mindblown] WHO IS GONNA WIN???

mirth1019/11/2016, 6:02:18 PM1 votes

You are all forgetting this. Patch 6.18 . It will be a vastly different top lane and jungle. Whoever adapts the fastest to the new patch will be the better teams. I know of certain teams that adapt better than others. Rather watch that . Sona

WOW RIP FreeLG because they got placed in one of the hardest group in worlds this year. However i can see C9 and TSM getting out out groups this year. Hopefully this year NA doesnt get knocked out of quarters but i feel like its bound to happen. B
