LCS 4 Bans?
In my attempt to follow LCS I know that this season changed to the 5 ban system, but sometimes I see that some teams only get 4 bans instead of 5. Can anyone help me understand why some of these teams only get 4 bans?

Isn't the loss of a ban a potential punishment in LCS play?
In at least one of the games I saw, a team simply missed their ban. Riot increased the number of bans and also decreased the amount of time allowed to ban.
There hasn't been a penalized ban removal so far from what I have watched of the leagues atm. So there have been two scenarios in which a missed ban have tended to happen. The first being that the player banning just misses the ban because of the 30 second preparation. If I remember correctly, I think each player gets a ban instead of the first player of the team.
The second scenario is based off of what roles have already been picked and what roles remain. Normally in the case of top lane, an option to ban just narrows the best picks to use in the role and could possibly give away an idea as to what the team may be going for. So by leaving a ban out having nothing else to really ban, it just says "I'm confident in whatever match up you want to hand out."
Loss of bans can be a punishment, also ive seen players just miss banning. Before, the top laner did it all, now everyone has to ban so they arent used to it yet.
Thank you all for your comments, I really appreciate the answers. From what I can tell, if there is anyone else looking for an answer to this, teams are either missing one of their bans or simply choosing not to ban during the second ban phase. Thank you all again for helping me figure this out, I really do appreciate it! :)
