In league, you'll have to hit challenger to get noticed. After that, usually teams through players start to know who's on the challenger ladder. Most pros develop a reputation based on how they act in-game (things they say, the plays they make, how helpful, attitude, etc.) those things get conveyed to managers/owners and then some orgs reach out for tryouts. Other way is to get to challenger/master and then apply for the league of legends combine. Some players really shine and get a chance to play in LCS from there. My advice, if you can't hit challenger in a reasonable timeframe, might not be for you - but if you can then go for it and hmu on twitter if you do. We also look at stats while you climb, they matter.

Just keep working on improving. You'll need to go higher than p1 to go pro if you mean playing on a pro team.

Join some casual team, develop as a team. If you are good enough you might be invited in a better team. Get challenger (not necessary) Participate in some LOL contests/tournaments. If you are good enough you will be finally noticed. This is the story of becoming a pro I have seen from bunch of pro players.
