For Gods Sakes, Please Develop A Lan Mode

I have been hosting and shoutcasting LANs all across SoCal and the one thing that destroys a lan is having bad internet, which basically every venue since their network staff is usually utterly incompetent. What would remove a lot of the pain of these events would adding a Lan mode. It would allow most tournaments to continue in the event of a total internet shutdown (which happens often, or when it does happen, can irrecoverably destroy a game).

Now I also am totally incompetent in terms of internet. I know that Lan has it's own set of problems or... something. Like I guess people can hack, and Riot won't get to see what people are doing. Making sure people aren't doing anything illegal...

but for gods sakes please I am begging you dudes develop a lan mode, too many of my tournaments have been ruined.
