LoL esports was exciting? There were a ton of epic team fights in a match, fights were important.
Current esports: Turrets do nothing, rotate, never fight.... ace and win!
I know Riot wanted to lower game times, but now it's so boring.
Depends on the region. LPL is a lot more brawly.
There was a slight moment in Season 5 were games would always go 40+ minutes because it was super easy to turtle up. However, Riot's solution was way over the top of what was needed to correct that. I can't say I could have offered a better solution, but this is why they pay people.
