It seems as if Altec is not even available to be picked. And while I'm not in this situation, what happens to those that started Yellowpete. This news didn't come out until the first weeks lock-in.
My hope is that they give anyone starting Yellowpete Altec's points, at least for this first week. Then allow anyone to pick up Altec for week two.
Yellowpete will be playing in day 1. So the very few teams that actually locked him in as a starter will only get his first day's worth of points, then be screwed for the weekend. That's how it goes with fantasy sports, you can start a player who gets injured 10 minutes before the game or gets subbed out for poor performance. It's the beauty and the struggle of fantasy sports!
If you've locked in Yellowpete, you'll be given credit for any points he earns but not for Altec.
Altec will be made available today at 12:00PM PDT/2100 CEST.
