So I own a regular season TL icon, championship kha'zix, the champion and TL chroma. If I want to be a true "supporter" with gold chroma I'm paying an extra 2200 RP to get 2 emotes and 2 icons and the same icon ? The only difference between the worlds TL icon and regular season is a dash of white This has to be a fucking meme LOOOOL Guess in 2018 you can't be considered a true team fan unless you throw $30 for shit thats normally $10. Hate how hard riot and the teams are pushing this through their socials when its clearly overpriced and doesn't make sense. Please don't "You don't have to buy it if you don't want to" when its all all psychological game

I think the point is more like... for all the money riot makes they could afford to either make it cheaper or give something better for what you are spending.

There is a way to show riot you think it sucks. Don't buy it. If it doesn't sell, they'll know it sucked. If you complain but you buy it anyway, well your actions just shouted down your complaint.

The point of the Gold bundles is to support the team.

I've bought a Fnatic t-shirt during last worlds. It has cost me 70€. Is the t-shirt worth 70€? No, it's fucking not. But I gave them money because I love the brand and they kept me entertained for 4 years.

Basically, the point is to give money, not to receive incredible rewards. It's pretty much a donation.

Dude, you're missing my point entirely. I don't care much what I get. I give money pretty much as a donation, what I receive for that is, in a sense, just honorary; a "thank you" gift.

I don't pay for the reward, I pay for the support.

I hate that if you want to be a gold supporter then you are forced to get championship Kha'zix and the chroma even if you don't care about it. I don't play nor want Kha'zix so the best I get is I get downgraded to a "bronze" supporter if I still want to support a team.

I think the issue was more in the quantity and value of the purchase vs the cost. A couple of emotes, 1 skin, and a handful of icons is not a 30$ value. Icons are almost pointless. Skins at least come with sometimes cool animations and will be used quite often, especially if on a champion you actually like and if it has a chroma. As for emotes, those are up to the individual whether they use them or completely ignore them, but if it is a good one, then maybe it is worth picking up. However, if you are not even getting the skins and champion, then asking 30$ is ridiculous.
