Worlds Scenarios and Regionals

So it seems most likely that TL will beat TiP and TSM will beat CLG meaning CLG will have to play regionals to get into worlds.

How does regionals work and what teams will CLG and TiP be playing in regionals?

Seeding is based on the points total for the combination of the two splits.

Based on that scenario, I'd expect -

Round 1 of Regionals - Gravity (5th) vs C9 (4th) Round 2 of Regionals - Winner vs TiP (3rd) Round 3 of Regionals - Winner vs CLG (2nd)

*rankings are based off of point totals after eliminating the winner of the Summer Split.
