Show your support for these regional grudge matches by purchasing a Rift Rivals icon for 1 IP in the store. If your home region comes out on top, you’ll also be awarded an exclusive, gilded event icon.

The five regional Rift Rivals icons will be available in the store from June 29 at 7:00 AM PT (July 3 in China) until July 11 at 7:00 AM PT.

Every player in a winning region who owns any Rift Rivals icon at the end of the tournament will also receive an exclusive, gilded winners’ icon to commemorate the victory. This icon will be delivered directly to each player’s account within two weeks of the end of the tournament.

So you're just a poor fan, saying they're gonna lose beforehand.

Cool deal, carry on. Jk, we don't want 'fans' like you.

I can still cheer on a team while saying their gonna lose. If it was tsm vs skt i would know the LCK would win but i would still hope for NA to win. Of course EU is not the LCK but i can still doubt us as we were sending teams that didn't look too good like P1.

and no body wants fans like you lol people like you are the reason why most people hate the game. Any real fan of the game and not just blind followers of their region would understand that P1 and TSM were playing really well and Fnatic and G2 were playing really poorly (UOL and C9 were playing their normal), it wasn't that both sides were playing well and one team just out played the other at their best lol. it was like they were having a race and EU had a leg cramp and you think NA was amazing for winning said race what ever it was EU was making a lot of mistakes they don't usually make and it made for some really poor games.

that being said it was certainly a poor showing for EU I expected them to win more over all games but lose the finals in 4 or 5 games.

I have no idea what you cried about for that length of time, when I my comment wasn't even to you, but I'm sorry that I clearly upset you.

I was just joking around since you know those EU guys love to trash talk

"If your home region comes out on top, you’ll also be awarded an exclusive, gilded event icon." I do hope Riot stands in for the promise. My home region is EUW - an NA account does not change that.

May the rivalry drive both our regions to their limits! Let us grow together, regardless of who wins this bout! Good luck to NA, our honoured rival! May the best region win!

Wait if you have an NA Account there's a good chance that it treats you as from an NA Region, I don't see how riot would determine your region otherwise. Good news is you'd get a gilded icon now lol

Whoever wins that final: NA has made its point. Congratulations on that performance! For the sake of good sports let's hope we'll get to see a hard-fought final ;D

Do you get the golden icon even if you got the icon the day of the end of the tournament? I was away before the IP problem was fixed, and I couldn't get the NA-EU icon and I live in NA.
