Supporting a Friendship

I have always been a fan of Riot Games video series, but mostly of the ones that pertain to the different player around the world. It's always humbling to learn about other countries and player conditions within that server region. In the first installment of Live/Play this week, we are shown how LoL has helped individuals overcome troubling times in their lives, regardless of the circumstances. We all know and have experienced the flame and toxicity side of the League community. But, I believe that the majority of the community are people like me, who find an escape from everyday life through a game that allows you to establish friendship with people you have never met IRL. With all of that being said, the last segment of the video that focuses on the friendship in brazil, I would like to say one thing. Although I do not know his name, the friend of Victor Lopes, the gentleman that was interviewed, to me he is an icon. In todays world, with the constant threat of war, innocent lives being taken and an evil that seems to lurk on our planet, your story of True Friendship inspires me and gives me hope in times where it is hard to find. It should give us all a sense of gratitude for what we have, because at any moment our lives could change forever. Keep up the fight, and let his legacy and your friendship together live through you, as you said "I will keep it forever". RIP Victor Alef Lopes
