Scalping Tickets problematic

League of Legends Tickets - League of Legends Tickets on StubHub!

During Worlds this year, the camera really didn't pan over the audience because the seats were pretty much empty. Is that because no one wants to go? If you go online and try to buy a ticket you will see tickets are sold out. So it's not a lack of interest, it's a lack of regulation. When I see All Stars this year I am hoping to see the whole venue completely full, however I am willing to bet that the seats will once again be vacant. I think there needs to be some type of punishment for this behavior. If someone is trying to sell tickets online at 600% mark up, it doesn't take rocket surgery to figure out the person who bought the ticket and the person reselling the ticket as the seats are reserved.

Does Riot plan on trying to increase attendance in North America? I mean with all the franchising and brand building, you would think that these types of issues that prohibit the teams from getting their audience in to the venues would be looked at and fixed. I mean they still get the money on ticket sales so it may not matter to them at all, but from the fan and franchise perspective, this is a easily fixed issue that has been handled by major organizations in Pro Sports. Pro Sports teams like the Houston Rockets or the Golden State Warriors...... item 3073 /rant

Yeah this is kind of disappointing, I already booked a plane and hotel in Vegas but I failed to get the tickets. I saw that people were reselling theirs on StubHub for a $ 1,000 (and I think it got sold since Sat event is not available anymore? ridiculous)
